🌍✨ Incredible News from Ethiopia! ✨🌍

Dr. Elliott was able to meet with the Lutheran leaders of the western region of Ethiopia, and together they established plans for a TAM School of Ministry launching October 2026 at their Lutheran compound.

We are so grateful for this open door and excited for all that God has in store through this new partnership. 🙌

Dear Friends of Touching Africa,

We are excited to share a brief report over the next few weeks on what the Lord accomplished during Michael’s ministry trip to Ethiopia in March 2026.

A New Opportunity — DIGITAL LIBRARY PROJECT LAUNCHED!
During the sessions in Dembi Dolo, 14 full teaching sessions were professionally videotaped for only $650. Michael taught in English while Engida translated into the Oromo language, making the messages accessible to a much wider audience.

This Digital Library is a strategic and timely answer to prayer. It allows us to respond to the many invitations we receive to bring TAM Schools of Ministry to remote regions—areas that are often unsafe to travel or difficult to reach due to limited time and resources. Through this library, leaders and students in these regions can still be equipped, strengthened, and discipled.

Pastor Michael arrives home tomorrow after three powerful weeks of ministry in Africa. We are so grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support throughout this trip. God has moved in incredible ways, and we can’t wait to share the testimonies of what He has accomplished!

Dr. Michael Elliott departs for Ethiopia tonight, where he will be teaching in two Schools of Ministry. In addition to his work with the schools, he has been given the meaningful opportunity to minister to a group of young adults every evening for an entire week. It is a tremendous honor to invest in the lives of these emerging leaders.

Our School of Ministry in Meki included 60 Pastors and ministry leaders. Unfortunately, due to food costs for three days, TAM had to limit the number of attendees. TAM also has ten missionaries assigned to the Meki region to evangelize and plant churches. To date, we have six churches planted across the region and TAM hosts two Schools of Ministry in Meki each year. God is doing some incredible things!!
