Charis Family,
I rarely do this, but I believe that this is very important and time is of the essence with this request. Most of you know Jameson and Jordan. They are the young couple who came to Haiti to serve with us, and were planning to join us full time before COVID and the gangs forced us to leave Haiti. Years ago Jameson's mom and step father, Missy and John Tennant, started the process to adopt two young boys from an orphanage in Port au Prince that we work with. This has been a very long and expensive process, but Missy and John love these two boys and have remained committed to bringing them to the States to become a part of their family. The gang problem in Haiti has resulted in all airports, and thus flights to the United States from Haiti, being shut down. Missy and John's adoption process is over and their two boys are ready to come home to them. The United States government can make a way for the boys to be transported to America, but they need to be persuaded to act. This not only effects Missy and John, but 10 other American families are in the same situation with all paperwork, fees, and legal obligations having been met, yet all of these children are stuck in Haiti, unable to come home to join their new families. What I am humbly asking of you all is to click on the link below to send a quick note to your Senator or Congressman asking them to act on behalf of these orphaned children who are stuck in Haiti waiting to join their adopted parents in America. There is also a number you can call in the link to talk directly to your representative. This will only take 2 minutes of your time and it would make the possibility of bringing these families together a reality. Thank you so much for your time in consideration of this request, and I will let you all know how this turns out. Have a blessed day! Your brother in Christ, Malcolm
