✝️A Playground Built on Faith and Service🙌
As the new playground is installed at St Paul Lutheran Church & School - Aurora, IL, our hearts are filled with both gratitude and sorrow. This playground represents more than just a space for play, it stands as a testament to the faithful mothers who, despite the chaos of life, poured their time, talents, and spiritual gifts into making this school a better place for their children.
From the PTLs before us who first envisioned this, to the PTL that carried it through, this project has been a labor of love. A reminder that when we serve, we plant seeds we may never see bloom. And yet, here it stands- firm. A reminder that when we give, we are part of something bigger than ourselves- something that will leave a lasting imprint, even as we prepare to say goodbye.
As St. Paul’s doors close at the end of May, we take comfort in knowing that for these final weeks, the children will laugh, play, and make memories here. This playground serves as a bittersweet reminder that God’s plans don’t always unfold the way we imagined, but He is always faithful and true. We trust that He is working in ways we cannot yet see- leading, strengthening, and preparing each of us for the path ahead.
May this playground echo with laughter and joy in these final weeks. Even in this season of goodbyes, may it stand as a symbol of the love and dedication that have always been at the heart of our little school community. A gift built with faith, service, and sacrifice, all for the kiddos who have called St. Paul home. ❤️
