Main Baptist Church We are a Christ-Centered, Purpose-Driven, and Spirit-Filled family of faith in God and love for one another. Instead, Christ is everything and in everything.

Main Baptist is a historic yet thriving, predominantly African-American congregation that offers Christ-Centered Worship, Purpose-Driven Missions and Ministry, and Spirit-Filled Preaching and Teaching. We strive to be the church where "Christ is the Main Thing!" (Colossians 3:11)

Where this happens, there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, uncivilized person, slave, or free person. (Colossians 3:11, GOD’S WORD Translation)

🧡💙 MAIN, LET’S CELEBRATE THE GIFT GOD HAS GIVEN OUR HOUSE! 💙🧡

This Sunday, we’re honoring Pastor Julian E. Spencer—celebrating not only another year of life, but another year of vision, leadership, preaching, serving, and faithfully pouring into God’s people. 🙌🏾

Let’s fill the church with ORANGE + BLUE as we show our Pastor just how much he is loved! Wear your Chicago Bears apparel or your best blue and orange, join us for 9:30 AM Worship, and stay afterward for sweet treats and fellowship as we celebrate him. 🎉🎂
