For Better.

This week, we’ll step into our city and put those beliefs into action.

If your identity is fully tied to your political tribe, then disagreement will always feel like a personal attack.

And that’s true on the left.
And it’s true on the right.

Because tribalism eventually makes us defend things we would normally question… simply because “our side” said it.

Maybe we’ve been formed more by outrage culture than we realize.

The loudest church stories usually aren’t the most common ones.

Most pastors aren’t celebrities.
They’re exhausted. Faithful. Trying their best.

But when spiritual leaders fail publicly, people get hurt. Trust gets broken. Questions get louder.

We came as we were. That was enough.

No pretending.
No polished version required.
Just real people showing up with real stories, questions, joy, stress, hope, and everything in between.

And somehow, in the middle of all the ordinary moments, God meets people there.

That’s one of the beautiful things about Sundays around here.

Faith was never meant to be figured out alone.

Thomas had questions.
Jesus didn’t shame him for them.
And the disciples didn’t push him out because of them.

That kind of community still matters.

A place where doubts can be honest.
Questions can be loud.
And people can belong before they believe.

Tomorrow we continue Week 2 of Deconstructing:
“When the Church Lets You Down.”

Because hurt is real.
Questions are real.
And we believe Jesus is still worth finding in the middle of it all.
