MyHeritage announced several really amazing new features at RootsTech, but earlier this week they shared that they are now home to the complete set of Sweden's historical birth, marriage, and death collections. The 33 million records date from 1850 to the early/mid 1900s, and can now be found all in one place for the very first time. ArkivDigital
ArkivDigital has more than 106 million digital images of historical documents from all over Sweden including church records, court books, passenger ship manifests, military records, estate inventories, sailors records, tax records, and more. Discover records for Swedish communities living outside of Sweden, including parish records for seven Swedish churches in Colorado. Available in Special Collections and Archives only. Ask a librarian for access on the 5th floor at the Central Library and the 2nd floor of the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library. This database was donated by the Swedish Genealogical Society of Colorado.
