Dear friends and colleagues:
I am pleased to share with you that I have been inducted as a new member of the Academy of Medical Educators (AME) at the University of Colorado as a "Legacy Member in Teaching."
Each year, the AME hosts an induction ceremony to celebrate the achievements of new members and recognize existing members with new designations. This annual event honors faculty educators who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to teaching and innovation in medical education.
The Legacy Member in Teaching is an honorary status that recognizes faculty members who have made significant and sustained contributions as leaders and innovators in medical education, both nationally and internationally.
In the picture below, I am with Drs. Gardner and Lowenstein after the ceremony.

Estimados amigos y colegas:
Me complace compartir con ustedes que he sido incluido como nuevo miembro de la Academia de Educadores Médicos (AME) de la Universidad de Colorado como "Miembro Legado en la Enseñanza".
Cada año, la AME organiza una ceremonia de inducción para celebrar los logros de los nuevos miembros y reconocer a los miembros existentes con nuevas designaciones. Este evento anual honra a los docentes que han demostrado una dedicación excepcional a la enseñanza y la innovación en la educación médica.
El título de Miembro Legado en la Enseñanza es un estatus honorario que reconoce a los docentes que han hecho contribuciones significativas y sostenidas como líderes e innovadores en la educación médica, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
