The Land

The Land We are a UMC that seeks to nourish the sacred relationship between the Creator and all creation.

The Land is located on the unceded ancestral lands of the Cheyenn and Arapaho people of present-day Arapahoe County. The human community gathering on this sacred land strives to deepen relationships with all of creation. On The Land we gather to conserve the prairie, grow food, decolonialize worship, teach children and engage youth in ecospiritual formation.

Join us this Saturday, May 30th at 10:00 for a morning of Holy Resistance. Using a combination of Biblical stories and modern freedom songs, we will connect the dots between movements for liberation then and now. Let us sing our praises and uphold the dignity of all who are created in God’s image.

Come sing with us!

Tomorrow: Fundraising Support Q&A for Local Churches
Is your church wondering how to take the next faithful step in funding ministry?

Whether you are exploring a capital campaign, thinking about grant writing, considering a feasibility study, or simply asking, “Where do we even begin?” — you are invited to join a casual Zoom Q&A tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. MT.

Mary Hughes and Illene Roggensack, known as “The Church Ladies,” bring more than 60 years of combined fundraising experience and a heart for helping churches and faith-based ministries strengthen their mission and impact.

This relaxed conversation is open to laity and clergy and will be a chance to ask questions, learn what support is available, and imagine what might be possible for your congregation or ministry.

Your next faithful step may be closer than you think.

Saturday worship: "Human One, Where Art You?"

05/13/2026

As the Council of Bishops gathered in Jacksonville, Bishop LaTrelle Miller Easterling offered a reminder that feels especially important in this moment. ❤️

“Love cannot remain silent in the face of suffering, injustice or dehumanization. A Gospel that does not move our feet, has not reached our hearts.”

These words invite us to reflect on what it means to live out a faith that is both courageous and grounded, engaged in the world while rooted first in Christ.

We had a great work day last Sunday, joined by Smoky Hill UMC Youth Group. We worked, we snacked, and we had a great meditation/reflection complete with temp tattoos. The weather was nearly perfect, and we accomplished a lot. Thanks to Smoky Hill United Methodist Church youth group for all the help!
