🌿 The modern Christian sometimes prays as if he were sending urgent complaints to Heaven: "Lord, solve it quickly, I don't have time!". But God is not an instant delivery app and he doesn't work according to our nerves. In Orthodoxy, patience works more miracles than agitation. Sometimes we are so consumed by trifles that if our phone signal is lost for two minutes, we have the impression that the apocalyptic persecution is beginning.

☦️ Christ calls us to peace, to a pure heart and to a little more smile. That there are people so frowning that if you see them in the morning you have the impression that they have fasted for joy, not just for food. And the soul that knows how to pray and laugh cleanly before God remains alive and bright even in troubled times.

Happy Name Day to Our community for Holy Trinity 🌿 Dear friends, here we are at the end of this blessed Sunday, the great day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Holy Apostles in the form of tongues of fire and filled the world with grace and light. And it is no coincidence that we also end this month of his under the protection and work of the Holy Spirit. For man without the grace of God quickly grows cold at heart, becomes troubled and gets lost in the worries of the world. ☦️ Therefore, this evening, let us leave the noise and the running for a while and turn to our soul. Let us see how much peace we still have, how much patience, how much love and how much prayer. For the Holy Spirit does not come to a heart full of malice and pride, but to a humble and quiet heart that seeks God with sincerity. 🙏 And let us all say this evening: "Lord, send upon us the grace of the Holy Spirit, enlighten our minds, strengthen our souls, and keep our families in peace, health, and love. And may the Mother of God cover us all with her holy protection. Amen."

🙏 Prayer for health and peace on the Friday before Pentecost
🙏 Lord God, Heavenly Father, on this holy day before Pentecost, I come before You with a humble heart and with faith. ✨
Send upon me, upon my home and upon my loved ones Your holy peace and Your great blessing. Heal the pains of body and soul, Drive away anxiety, fear and every evil that oppresses our hearts. Holy Spirit, Comforter, come and enlighten our thoughts, fill our home with peace, love and understanding, and direct our steps towards goodness and faith.
🌿 Lord, guard us from illness, trouble and anger, protect our family and bless the work of our hands. Give health to the sick, strength to the sorrowful and hope to those who have lost their peace of soul. Forgive our sins and mistakes, teach us to be better, more patient and more merciful, so that we may receive the grace of Pentecost with a pure heart.
🙏 As the Holy Spirit descended upon the Holy Apostles, descend upon us with light and blessing, and may Your peace always remain in our homes and souls.
Amen. ✝️

🙏 Dear ones, God has given us another morning… a Wednesday in which we can start over again. Because maybe yesterday we made a mistake, maybe we were angry, maybe we were tired in our soul. But God is good because He does not only look at our falls, but He also looks at man's desire to get up and move forward with faith. 📿 Lord, we thank you for this morning, for health, for home, for family and for all the good that we receive without realizing it. Help us today to be calmer, more patient and kinder to the people around us. Let us not respond with malice to malice and let us not forget that each person is fighting an unseen battle in his soul. ☦️ Mother of God, cover us with your prayers on this day. Protect our children, parents and all those dear to us. And if we have troubles or difficulties, give us the strength to overcome them with peace, prayer, and hope in God. Amen.

05/26/2026

🙏 Dear ones, man cannot walk beautifully towards God if there is no love, patience and care for one another in his home. The family is the place where we learn to forgive, help and bear our burdens together. Not only prayer brings us closer to the Kingdom of Heaven, but also the way we behave with those around us every day. 📿 Let us take care of our parents, children, grandparents and all the people that God has placed close to us. A kind word, a hug, timely help or a prayer made from the heart is worth a lot before God. The Church teaches us to live not only for ourselves, but also for our neighbor, with humility and love. ☦️ If we put more peace in the family, more faith in the heart and more kindness in deeds, then our life will also have a different light. Because the man who loves sincerely and lives with God in his soul is already walking on the path that leads to salvation.

🙏 "If anyone wants to be under God's blessing, let them come to the Holy Liturgy..." ✨ Every Sunday and holiday, church bells call people to the Holy Liturgy - the place where heaven unites with earth, and God pours blessings on those who come with faith and a humble heart. 🌿 Many people do not realize how much grace the soul receives at the Holy Liturgy. It is not just an ordinary service, but a person's encounter with God. There, in the silence of the church, among prayers, candles and holy songs, the soul finds peace and strength. At each Holy Liturgy, the words resound several times: "Peace to all!" 🤍 It is not a simple wish. It is God's blessing for all those present. Peace in the soul, peace in the heart, healing for the mind and strength for life. A person who lives without peace of mind cannot feel true joy. That is why Christ, after the Resurrection, said to his disciples: “Peace be with you!” We also receive the same peace when we stand with faith at the Holy Liturgy. 🙏 There we hear: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God the Father and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” With you all… Not just with some. Not just with those without fault. But with all who come before God with a sincere heart. At the Holy Liturgy, man leaves the worries of the world for a few moments and enters another state – a state of peace, prayer and closeness to heaven. There the soul is nourished with grace, and man leaves lighter, more at peace and stronger.

Many elders said that when a person goes to church on Sunday, God blesses his home, family, and the steps of his life. ✨ And at the end of the Holy Liturgy, the priest says: "The blessing of the Lord upon you, with His grace and with His love for people..." What greater gift can a person receive on earth than God's blessing? Let us never forget: the church is not just a place where we light candles... it is the place where the soul breathes light. 🌿 Lord, give us the strength to love the Holy Liturgy and never turn away from You! 🤍

The ASCENSION OF JESUS CHRIST is one of the Great Feasts of the Orthodox Church, celebrated forty days after Pascha (and thus always falling on a Thursday).

Forty days after the Resurrection, while blessing His disciples (Gospel of Luke 24:50-51), Christ ascended into heaven, taking His place at the right hand of the Father (Gospel of Mark 16:19 and Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed).

Scriptural accounts
The first account of the Ascension found in the Bible is in the Gospel of Mark (16:14-19). The description is brief. Jesus and the remaining eleven disciples are seated at a table, presumably in a room in or near Jerusalem. Jesus commands His followers to spread the Gospel, and that those who believe will be known by their invulnerability to poison, ability to heal the sick, and the like. After delivering these final words, Jesus is received into heaven to sit at the right hand of God. No description of the Ascension itself is given; Mark simply states that it happened.

The Gospel of Luke is even more brief in its description (24:50-51). Jesus led the eleven to Bethany, not far from Jerusalem. While in the act of blessing them, Jesus was carried up to heaven.

The third, and most celebrated, account of the Ascension is in the Acts of the Apostles (1:9-12). For forty days after the Resurrection, Jesus continued to preach the Gospel. Jesus and the eleven were gathered near Mt. Olivet (or the Mount of Olives), to the northeast of Bethany. Jesus tells His disciples that they will receive the power of the Holy Spirit and that they will spread His message the world over. Jesus is taken up and received by a cloud. Some traditions say that He was taken up in a fiery chariot, much like the Prophet Elijah. Two men clothed in white appear and tell the disciples that Jesus will return in the same manner as He was taken. They say: "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into Heaven? This same Jesus, Who is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into Heaven" (Acts 1:11).[1] Afterwards, the disciples return to Jerusalem rejoicing, remaining continually in the Temple.

The Gospel of Matthew ends at a mountain in Galilee, with Jesus commanding the disciples to spread the Gospel. No mention of the Ascension is made.

Importance
The Ascension of Christ shows the last stage in God's plan for mankind: total union with Himself upon one's departure from the world. According to V. Rev. George Florovsky, "in the Ascension resides the meaning and the fullness of Christ's Resurrection....and with Christ, man's nature ascends also."

Troparion - Tone 4
O Christ God, You have ascended in Glory,
Granting joy to Your disciples by the promise of the Holy Spirit.
Through the blessing they were assured
That You are the Son of God,
The Redeemer of the world!

Kontakion - Tone 6
When You did fulfill the dispensation for our sake,
And unite earth to Heaven:
You did ascend in glory, O Christ our God,
Not being parted from those who love You,
But remaining with them and crying:
I am with you and no one will be against you.

🙏 My dears, here we are, because the good God has given us another morning and has raised us from sleep again to see the light of this Wednesday. A great blessing is each sunrise that we receive, even if we often get used to God's gifts and forget to thank Him. Maybe some of us woke up tired, with worries and with many pressures in our souls, but let's not forget that God never gives us a day without also giving us the strength to see it through to the end. 🙏 🕯️ This morning let's try to be calmer, gentler and more patient with each other. Let's not start the day in a hurry, with nerves and judgment, but with a little prayer and good thoughts. Because sometimes a single word spoken with peace can bring light to a burdened soul. And it is a great thing to keep peace of heart in an increasingly troubled world. Let us move forward today with faith and not lose hope, dear ones, that God sees even the hidden tear and the struggle of every soul and does not leave without help the man who seeks Him with sincerity. 📿

It is said that the devil is not so much afraid of the man who goes to church…
as of the man who goes with a humble heart and an open soul to God.
Many enter church, but few manage to leave the world out of their soul.
Sometimes the body is in the House of the Lord, but the mind wanders among judgments, dissatisfaction and thoughts about others…
“Look how he is dressed…”
“Look what he is doing…”
“The priest does not sing beautifully…”
“What a hypocrite he is…”
And without realizing it, we lose the very essence:
prayer,
quietness,
repentance,
meeting with God. 🤍
The enemy does not always need to stop a person from going to church.
Sometimes it is enough for him to make him sit there without spiritual benefit.
The most dangerous for evil are not those who appear "holy" before people…
but those who come silently, with tears and a sincere heart before Christ. 🙏
Those who do not judge.
Those who see their sins.
Those who pray from the depths of their hearts.
Those who leave church determined to become better than they were yesterday.
Those are covered by God's grace. ✨
Maybe today we should not look at others in church…
but at our own soul.
Lord, give us a humble heart and pure prayer
