Dear Advent family,

This Sunday is the 14th Sunday after Pentecost. Worship with Holy Communion is at 9:30am.

R.J. Thomas is away on a much needed vacation and we pray for safe travels and a time of renewal. We thank Pam Dutch for being Advent’s guest organist and sharing her musical talents to the glory of God.

We look forward to worshiping with the body of Christ at Advent this Sunday.

Dear Advent Family,

This Sunday is the 12th Sunday after Pentecost. Worship with Holy Communion is at 9:30am.

This Sunday we will be welcoming new members at Advent. After worship there will be a time of fellowship to meet and welcome Advent’s newest members.

Dr. Pam has recently returned from Uganda and will be sharing her testimony of her time there and we hope you will come and support Pam and the mission work being done in Uganda.

What an incredible weekend!

We had an absolute blast connecting with our community at the Augusta Saturday Market. Every conversation, smile, and story reminded us why this outreach has become such a meaningful part of our ministry.

Combined with Pastor Andrea’s powerful message on Sunday, it was a weekend full of encouragement, connection, and hope.

What started as a simple outreach has grown into a trusted and expected presence in our community. People stop by to share their stories, struggles, victories, and testimonies—and we’re honored to listen. Our neighbors know we’re here, and together we’re sharing the Good News that brings hope to every season of life.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by. We can’t wait to see you again next month!

Dear Advent Family,

This Sunday is VBS Sunday and the installation of Church Council. Worship is at 9:30am followed by Adult Sunday school.

The music and sermon for Sunday follow the VBS theme “At the Table” where we learn how sharing stories and meals are important for our faith. Stories and fellowship are basic building blocks of our identity as a church. You will get to meet a special guest during the sermon and hear about the Good Samaritan, Jesus on the road to Emmaus and how the disciples gathered together around the breaking of the bread.

After the sermon, we will install Advent’s 2026-27 Church Council.

The sanctuary is beautifully decorated from VBS week and we hope you can join us for this blessed service!
