The Parishes of St. Augustine and St. James lost a dear friend, parishioner and committed volunteer yesterday, Mrs. Monte Schellenberger. As many of you know, Monte was a devoted wife and mother so this loss is tremendous to her young family.

A Meal Train has been established to help keep her family fed while they find a way to navigate life without her in the days ahead. If you’re unable to take a meal to them, you can follow the link to make a donation in the form of meal cards.

Please keep the repose of Monte’s soul and the comfort of her family in your prayers.

Thank you for helping the Schellenberger Family as they grieve the loss of wife and mother.

🎼 Burial of the Alleluia & Pancake Dinner 🥞

🎉 The annual Burial of the Alleluia will be held at St. James Church in Brooksville on February 17 at 5:30pm. The Burial of the Alleluia signifies the beginning of the Lent, when we are reminded of the penitential emphasis of the season.

🎉 Following the Burial of the Alleluia liturgy, the St. Vincent de Paul - Bracken County chapter will host their annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner to benefit their charitable works for our local brothers and sisters in need. The dinner will be held in the St. James Parish Hall in Brooksville at 6pm.
