Matthew 22:37 “Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

God wants to have a relationship with us. Not just as associates passing by, but a godly relationship, a covenant.

In today’s world, it may appear that believers are few. But the most important thing to remember is that all earthly things will eventually fade away, while God’s love is everlasting and enduring.

So, spend some time building a genuine relationship with God. Don’t just know *about* God—take the time to truly “Know God.” Seek Him, spend time in His Word, pray, and allow your relationship with Him to grow.

At the end of the day, what matters most is not what we gained in this world, but whether we truly knew the One whose love endures forever. 🙏🏽❤️

Truly, God is our shelter in the midst of a storm,
His Word is our direction, and the Holy Spirit is our help and strength. So, whether things are going well, are bad, are trying, or are even perplexing, we can still celebrate the fact that God will never leave us nor forsake us; and though it may not feel like it at times, He will never allow us to encounter more than we can bear!

Hallelujah! As we dive into September’s journal, titled The Grace of God, let us thank Him for His unmerited favor, gifts, and blessings. We receive these not because mankind has earned or deserved them, but simply out of His abundant love and grace toward us.

Back to the Basics highlights the foundational groundwork for the believer.

The building blocks are:

Believing that all things are possible with God.

Confessing from the heart, and out of the mouth.

Being doers of the word, and not just hearers.

And because God is an awesome God, praise Him for bringing the believer out of darkness by grace into His marvelous light.
