đź“ş HERE IS OUR 98TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY BROADCAST:
God's doing a new thing at Jordan Grove and yesterday was a marvelous showing of our next level in Christ! Our 98th Church Anniversary was a powerful testament of the Holy Spirit moving through believers who worship as one body. Words can't describe the move of God, the shift of God, the elevation of God in our service...you'll have to watch our anniversary broadcast to see and experience for yourself.
We thank everyone who supported our 98th celebration. Every JGBC member, program participant, invited guest, out of town visitor, supporting churches, member of the clergy, program patron, dinner venue, caterer...everyone who made yesterday a treasured occasion, THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU! You gave value and memory to our day.
To Rev. Tony Walker--our next level Servant-Leader--thank you for teaching us, covering us, guiding us, pushing us, challenging us, testing us, inspiring us, cheering us, hearing us, and growing us from September 2025 - September 2026. What a full wonderful year we've had under your direction. May God's promises continue to become reality in every area of your life.
Yesterday blessed us with far more than the celebration of our 98th Church Anniversary. After nearly every guest had departed, many members of our church family remained at Good Samaritan to serve our neighbors who came seeking a meal. There was no fanfare, no media, no applause, no music, and no showmanship—just humble, heartfelt service. The many months of planning and the hours spent preparing, cleaning, etc. were all worthwhile because we had the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ. For that we are eternally grateful.
Jordan Grove, as we move forward throughout our 98th year, let us remain committed to working together, serving our church and community faithfully, praying consistently, and believing God for increase. Every ministry, every member, and every act of service has a part in building God’s Kingdom, our church, and our church family. Let us not become weary in doing good, but continue planting seeds of faith, love, outreach, and discipleship with expectation.
In year 98, we are believing for spiritual increase, numerical increase, ministry increase, and financial increase—not simply so that we can become a bigger church, but so that we can make a greater Kingdom impact. Let’s work and serve while we believe and move forward expecting God to give the increase! "For we walk by faith, not by sight:" II Corinthians 5:7
