Covenant Movement

🏃🏾‍♂️ The race God called you to run isn’t about gaining more, having more, or competing with everybody around you.
Pastor Sherman reminds us that this is a race of salvation and Kingdom. We’ve joined a long line of believers called to know God, serve His purpose, and make a difference in this world.
The question isn’t just, “Does God know me?”
Do I know God? 🙏🏾

From The Pastor’s Desk:

Covenant, what we have been praying and working toward is taking shape. Your giving is helping make it possible. 🙌🏾

We have made significant strides, and our donations reflect a people with a made up mind. Thank you for putting your resources behind the vision. I want you to see the work you are helping carry forward.

A child struggling to read needs someone to step in before falling further behind. A parent educating at home needs a place where their child can receive support. Through Eterna, we are responding to those needs right here in Augusta.

Our learning pod serves homeschool and GCA families. Our after school program provides reading support for children in grades 3 through 5. Eterna Christian Academy is also enrolling middle school students for an education that takes their learning and their faith seriously.

This is part of who we are at Covenant: a church committed to bringing the faith we preach into the lives of the people we serve. Your tithes and donations sustain that ministry. Your mission gifts help carry the work beyond our walls. Your support for Eterna helps us invest in children’s futures.

Nehemiah 4:6 says:
“So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.” KJV

There was progress because the people committed themselves to the work. Covenant, I see that commitment in you, and I am grateful.

If you have not had a chance to participate, there is still room for you to help build. Choose the work you want to support and give an amount you can sustain. A gift today helps us move forward; ongoing giving helps us plan for the work ahead.

🎥 THIS MORNING AT COVENANT
“Run, Don’t Look Back”
Apostle J. Michael Sherman
📖 Hebrews 12:1–9

You’re running a race, and your Father is training you to finish. Even His correction has a purpose.

The witnesses of Hebrews 11 have finished their race. Now we must run ours, looking to Jesus.

“They without us should not be made perfect.”
Hebrews 11:40

Their testimony is recorded. Ours is still being written. What will this generation add to the testimony of faith?

Covenant, keep running. Don’t look back! 🙌🏾

Share this message with someone who needs strength to keep going.

You were never meant to do it all by yourself.
In this powerful moment, Pastor Sherman reminds us that we were born to partner with God—to co-labor with Him.
Genesis 11 shows what happens when people try to make a name for themselves without God. But when we work with Him, the outcome changes.
Some things are not supposed to be accomplished without God.
Stop trying to force it alone.
Partner with Him.
Build with Him.
Do it together.

WE’RE GROWING, and there’s room for your gifts. 🔥

Covenant is more than a church. We’re a movement, and as the reach grows, the team must grow with it.

We’re looking for people who are ready to lead, build, serve, create, teach, care, organize, pray and help develop what comes next. Some opportunities require ministry experience. Others need professional skill, leadership capacity or simply someone ready to grow into greater responsibility.

From Augusta to Raleigh/Durham, Waynesboro, Aiken, Kenya and beyond, there is work to do.

You may already know where you fit.
You may just know you’re ready for more.

Either way, find your place.

The right gift. The right place. The right time.

Before we criticize what the last generation left us, remember what they had to overcome to build it. 🔥🙌🏾

They built churches through oppression. Bought property through hardship. Started businesses when opportunities were limited. They knew they needed the Spirit of God—and we need Him too.

IT’S OUR TIME NOW! Time to accept responsibility, carry the work forward, and finish what God has placed in our hands.

Drop “IT’S OUR TIME” in the comments if you’re ready to answer the call! Share this with somebody who needs the push. 💪🏾

🚨WHEN THE MIND MEETS THE SPIRIT 🔥
Prophetic Encounter | Replay

The people had a mind to work, but God made it clear: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.”

They had to depend on Him to accomplish it. And when it was finished, even their enemies knew God had done it. That dependence was part of His purpose. 🙌🏾

🔥A MIND TO WORK 🔥
Sunday Morning Message | Apostle J. Michael Sherman

The people had a mind to work. Fifty two days later, even their enemies recognized that God had accomplished the work through them.

What happens when a people decide to build together? 🙌🏾
