About the Bible: We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings

About God: We believe that there is one living and true God Who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and Who is worthy of all possible honor, worship, and praise. He is expressibly glorious in holiness and love. About Jesu

s Christ: We believe in the full humanity and deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, death on the cross for our sins, bodily resurrection and ascension, present ministry of intercession of believers, and His personal and visible return in power and glory. About the Holy Spirit: We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit Who regenerates unbelievers, the evidence of which is repentance, faith, newness of life. We believe He indwells believers, enabling them to live a godly life, transforming them to the likeness of Christ, and keeping them by power of God until the day of Jesus Christ. About Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God and was intended to have fellowship with God. However, since Adam, all men are sinners by nature and by choice, and are under the just condemnation of the Holy and Righteous God. We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. About Salvation: We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who is the only and all-sufficient Savior and the only Mediator between God and man; and that the Gospel of salvation should be shared with every person in the world. About the Church: We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, is a group of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel. The two ordinances of the Church are Baptism by immersion in water and the Lord's Supper, a provision of bread and fruit of the vine representing the body and blood of Christ.

“The Shepherd's Voice”

“But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children” 1 Thes 2:7

May our voice and words be a loving light that guides God's people, balancing truth with compassion while upholding spiritual authority.

Truth Delivered with Love:
Speaking truth in love helps people grow toward Christ in all things (Eph 4:15). This principle guards against two extremes: abandoning truth for comfort or wielding truth as a weapon. Speech should consistently carry grace, seasoned with salt, demonstrating how to answer everyone appropriately (Col 4:6).

Balanced Correction and Encouragement:
Ministers should preach the word persistently, reprove, rebuke, and exhort, all with longsuffering and doctrine (2 Tim 4:2). This framework prevents correction from becoming harsh or disconnected from teaching. The servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle toward all, apt to teach and patient, instructing those who oppose themselves in meekness (2 Tim 2:24–25). Gentleness doesn’t mean avoiding difficult conversations; rather, it means pursuing them with genuine care for the person’s spiritual welfare.

Pastoral Care Through Speech:
Paul modeled tenderness, describing himself as gentle among the congregation like a nurse cherishing children (1 Thess 2:7–8). Leaders should feed God’s flock willingly, not by constraint or for personal gain, and serve as examples rather than dominating God’s heritage (1 Pet 5:2–3).

Relational Respect and Discernment:
When addressing people, ministers should treat elders as fathers, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with all purity (1 Tim 4:16–5:2). This relational framework prevents ministers from speaking to people as objects of correction rather than as beloved members of God’s family.

Integrity and Doctrinal Soundness:
Ministers must renounce dishonesty and deceit, refusing to handle God’s Word deceitfully, instead commending themselves through truth’s manifestation (2 Cor 4:2). They should study to present themselves approved to God, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15).

Accountability for Words:
Teachers will receive greater condemnation (James 3:1), underscoring the weight of ministerial speech. Ministers should set an example for believers in word and conversation, paying attention to reading, exhortation, and doctrine (1 Tim 4:12–13), ensuring their speech reflects both biblical knowledge and personal integrity.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help my voice to ever communicate your love to others in a way that gives guidance to the wayward and the lost in teaching and correction without hindrance or offense to the flock. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

“Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” Matt 15:14

Every minister and servant of God has blind spots that can undermine their effectiveness and character. However, with humility and self-examination, engaging with God's word can remedy this by helping us identify these patterns and offering guardrails against them. I've listed a few below:

Pride and Self-Deception:

Pride precedes destruction (Prov 16:18), yet leaders often fail to recognize their own arrogance. Those who think they stand securely are most vulnerable to falling (1 Cor 10:12), and the human heart is deceitful above all things (Jer 17:9). The Pharisees exemplified this: they trusted in their own righteousness and despised others, comparing themselves favorably to those they deemed inferior (Luke 18:9–14). To guard against this, leaders should think soberly about themselves according to the measure of faith God has given them, not more highly than they ought (Rom 12:3). Clothe yourself with humility and submit to others so God can exalt you in due time (1 Pet 5:5–6).

Self-Serving Leadership:

Shepherds who feed themselves rather than their flocks face God’s judgment (Ezek 34:1–10). Leaders may impose heavy burdens on others while exempting themselves, performing their duties for human recognition rather than genuine service (Matt 23:1–12). The antidote is clear: true greatness in ministry comes through serving others, not exercising dominion over them (Matt 20:25–28; Mark 10:42–45).

Spiritual Self-Sufficiency:

Trusting your own heart makes you a fool; walking wisely requires external guidance (Prov 28:26). A fool sees his own way as right, but the wise person listens to counsel (Prov 12:15). Without counsel, plans fail; they succeed through multiple counselors (Prov 15:22). Additionally, when correcting others, spiritual leaders must examine themselves lest they face the same temptation (Gal 6:1–3).
Hypocrisy and Double Standards

Leaders often focus on others’ faults while ignoring their own greater ones, yet cannot help others see clearly until they address their own blindness (Matt 7:3–5). Hearing God’s word without practicing it deceives you into forgetting who you truly are (James 1:22–25).

Accountability and Confession:

The ultimate guard is radical honesty: claiming sinlessness deceives you and separates you from truth, but confessing sin brings God’s faithful forgiveness (1 John 1:8–10). Daily exhortation from others prevents you from being hardened through sin’s deception (Heb 3:12–13). This is why mentorship, with its built-in accountability and honest feedback, remains essential protection against these pervasive blind spots.

Prayer: Lord God Almighty, thank You for the reality checks You put in our lives, knowing that they are Your loving way of perfecting us. May our hearts be receptive to Your teachings, and our eyes be open to Your loving correction, so that we may remain effective in responding to Your call upon our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen!
