Full Circle Refuge, Inc. Juvenile Justice Ministry Full Circle Refuge, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Devon Harris and received a 501(c)(3) tax classification in 2002.

It began with Bible discussion groups that met on Youth Development Campuses where groups were permitted by the Department of Juvenile Justice. Officials were initially skeptical, yet they were desperate for anything that could make a difference in the “revolving-door‟ of the juvenile justice system. It did not take long for officials to recognize that the discussion groups were making a positive

difference. Since this time the organization has grown steadily and continues to prove to incarcerated and at-risk youth that the system and the community have not given up on them. Over the years Full Circle Refuge has developed and operated a variety of programs to address the needs of at-risk youth. It has successfully launched mentoring programs, developmental programs addressing cognitive behaviors of at-risk youth, gang intervention programs and training seminars in schools and throughout the community. FCR also works directly with the Juvenile Justice Court system in Richmond, Columbia, and Burke County to assist in the adjudication of at-risk youth for gang intervention or placement in a mentoring program. FCR is lead by a well qualified team of staff and volunteers. Devon Harris, executive director, is a certified Gang Intervention Specialist who renews his credentials annually at the National Gang Crime Research Center in Chicago, Illinois. He has also attended the Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention’s National Youth Gang Symposium. In 2008 Harris was awarded the Community Champion Award by Augusta Mayor Deke Copenhaver and received the Outstanding Volunteer Award from Prison Fellowship. Staff members and volunteers include ordained ministers, Gang Intervention Specialists, and others who hold counseling degrees or have criminal justice backgrounds. Each of whom is deeply committed to the goals and mission of Full Circle Refuge.

It is imperative that a believer know he has a spirit, since, as we shall soon learn, every communication of God with man occurs there. If the believer does not discern his own spirit he invariably is ignorant of how to commune with God in the spirit. He easily substitutes the thoughts or emotions of the soul for the works of the spirit. Thus he confines himself to the outer realm, unable ever to reach the spiritual realm.
1 Corinthians 2.11 speaks of "the spirit of the man which is in him." 1 Corinthians 5.4 mentions "my spirit." Romans 8.16 says "our spirit" 1 Corinthians 14.14 uses "my spirit." 1 Corinthians 14.32 tells of the "spirits of prophets." Proverbs 25.28 refers to "his own spirit." Darby Hebrews 12.23 record "the spirits of just men." Zechariah 12.1 states that "the Lord . . . formed the spirit of man within him." The above Scripture verses sufficiently prove that we human beings do possess a human spirit. This spirit is not synonymous with our soul nor is it the same as the Holy Spirit. We worship God in this spirit."

I really thank God for a ministry like full circle refuge who actually is committed to helping all the kids society and others have deemed (NoHopeFor). This ministry invested in me when I was still banging, in the streets, and even in prison. Quit watching the news seeing our youth get killed and locked up and complaining about it. Get in the field you have a voice and if you nervous bout speaking donate to the people that’s not. These are our graduates today from One Degree At A Time.
