1. Fearing God vs. Fearing Men (Coram Deo): In what areas of your daily life does the desire for human approval or the fear of rejection overshadow your reverential awe of Christ?
2. The Sovereignty of the Spirit and Human Persuasion: How does the truth that the Holy Spirit is the one who ultimately convinces, enlightens, and saves give you confidence and freedom in evangelism? Does it relieve the pressure of feeling like you must be perfectly eloquent or flawless to be used by God?
3. Deconstructing Worldly Standards of Success: In what concrete ways does a life genuinely controlled by Christ look "crazy" to our contemporary culture? How can you protect your own heart from evaluating spiritual fruitfulness—both in your life and in your local church—through worldly, pragmatic measurements instead of godly faithfulness and integrity?
4. The Compelling Constraint of Christ's Love: Honestly evaluate your primary motivations for serving in the church or pursuing spiritual disciplines. Are you running on the fuel of guilt, performance, or a desire to look good, or are you genuinely compelled by a deep comprehension of Christ's cross-centered love?
