We will be heading to Panama City Beach, Florida for Fall Retreat this year and your student won’t want to miss! Our theme this year is “Closer Than You Think.” This theme was born out of students expressing their desire to feel close to God and experience His presence on a deeper level. During Fall Retreat, we will be talking about how God is closer than we think—even when we don’t feel His presence—and learn how we can find true spiritual rest in Him. In the middle of busy schedules, distractions, and the pressures of everyday life, students will have the opportunity this weekend to slow down, draw near to God, and hopefully experience truly resting in His presence. My hope is that we leave Fall Retreat spiritually renewed and reminded that God is always near, always present, and always inviting us to rest in Him. Cost is $200 per student.

Time flies when you’re having fun! A year ago yesterday we officially voted Fallon Farley to become our Minister to Students! If you know Fallon, you know that you’ll be loved fiercely, encouraged, and challenged to a deeper walk with Jesus. We are blessed to have her lead our students and our congregation! Happy (work) Anniversary, Fallon! We’re grateful for you! Phil 1:3

We’re giving thanks to God for another amazing day here at camp! Yesterday was packed with fun activities like Mega Relay, hummer rides up the mountain, pizza dinner, snow cones, a dance party, and, of course, the Lip Sync Battle!
•
Yesterday’s theme was “Our Story,” which challenged us to think of how we share the love and grace we receive through Jesus with the world. We discussed how God chooses to use us to tell His story with the world.

Yesterday was an amazing first full day of camp! We explored the question from Matthew 16 when Jesus says, “Who do you say that I am?” Our students are engaged in Bible study, optional studies, and their encounter groups and are having great conversations as a result of it! We also enjoyed some wiffle ball, tug-of-war, volleyball, and all of the lake activities! We also had another intense game of Family Feud! Everyone is doing great! Excited for Day 2!
