At Calvary Gateway International The Word was preached, and Heaven responded with manifestation! What was decreed from the pulpit did not return void, it took form before our very eyes. It's official, Pastor Stephen Fisher has been commissioned as Apostle!

This was no mere ceremony, it was a divine unveiling. The mantle that has rested upon him in secret was made manifest in the sanctuary, confirmed by the Spirit and witnessed by the saints. What God ordained in the secret place, He has now established in the open!

To everything there is a set time, and this was Apostle Fisher's appointed hour. We honor the process, we celebrate the promotion, and we cover him in prayer as he steps fully into this new dimension of authority and assignment.

Glory to God for the unfolding of His Word! Heaven is still speaking, and CGI House is still saying yes to the move of God.

FATHER’S DAY | Sunday Service Recap

Today we celebrated Father’s Day and were blessed by a powerful message from Pastor Stephen Fisher titled, “From Knowing to Believing.”

Through the lens of a father’s love, we were reminded that God’s love is purposeful. Even when life feels chaotic, painful, or confusing, our Heavenly Father is working with the end in mind. He is forging us into something stronger than we could ever become on our own.

Pastor Fisher compared our spiritual journey to the forging process of metal:

• God carefully selects the material.
• Heat is applied to make it pliable.
• The metal is shaped through pressure and impact.
• A cooling season follows.
• The finishing process removes what is unnecessary and prepares it for its intended purpose.

Likewise, God uses every season of our lives, including the difficult ones, to shape us into the image of Christ.

One of the most powerful truths from today’s message was that the pressure we experience is not random. God is intentional. The trials, challenges, and disappointments we face are often part of the process He uses to develop character, resilience, and faith.

We were reminded that in the Kingdom of God, there are no losses, only winning and learning. The lessons we gain through adversity often produce greater spiritual wealth than success alone.

The message also challenged us to examine our relationship with God. Do we truly know Him, or have we become familiar with facts about Him? It is possible to know Scripture, attend church, and participate in ministry while still lacking an intimate relationship with the Father.

Knowing God must move beyond information and become transformation.

Ultimately, belief is more than agreement, it is trust. The old meaning of the word “believe” is to trust. Trusting God means surrendering control, even when we cannot see the outcome. It means falling into His hands, confident that He will catch us.

If trials, disappointments, or life’s pressures have caused your heart to drift, the invitation remains the same: return to the Father through repentance, relationship, and trust.

God is calling His people beyond routine worship and into a deeper place of faith. He is calling us from merely knowing about Him to truly believing Him.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and father figures who reflect God’s love, guidance, and steadfast care. May we all grow in our knowledge of the Father and our trust in His perfect plan.

FOUNDERS’ APOSTOLIC APPRECIATION WEEKEND | GRAND FINALE

What a powerful conclusion to an unforgettable weekend of honoring God’s faithfulness through Apostle Melvin Colbert and Apostle Brenda W. Colbert .

Pastor Khalilah Olokunola delivered a timely and challenging word from Philippians 3, Luke 9, and Galatians 6, reminding us that milestones, markers, and moments of significance are often accompanied by adversity. While many celebrate the platform, few understand the press that comes before it.

Reflecting on 31 years of ministry, we were reminded that faithfulness is not measured by visibility but by obedience. The harvest we celebrate today did not come without sacrifice, pressure, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to God’s assignment.

One of the most powerful reminders from the message was this: the rearview mirror is for reference, not residence. What is behind us should inform us, but it should never keep us bound. Like Paul, we must press toward the mark and keep our focus on what God has set before us.

Jesus set His face toward Jerusalem knowing it would lead to sacrifice, suffering, and purpose. Likewise, our purpose may require us to walk through difficult seasons, but we must keep our hands on the plow and our eyes fixed on the assignment.

As Pastor Khalilah T. Olokunola challenged us:
• Your “yes” to God must be bigger than your “but.”
• Don’t celebrate only the destination—celebrate the faithfulness it took to get there.
• Looking back affects your pace and your peace.
• Pressure is often the place where God produces promotion.
• If you keep plowing, you will reap.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint. The seed, the growth, and the harvest are all part of God’s process.

Today, we celebrate more than a ministry milestone. We celebrate hands that have remained on the plow. We celebrate vision that never wavered. We celebrate leaders who continued pressing toward the mark through every season.

Thank you, Apostle Melvin and Apostle Brenda Colbert, for 31 years of faithful service, steadfast leadership, and unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God. Your labor has not been in vain, and the fruit of your obedience continues to impact generations.

The best is yet to come.

FOUNDERS' APOSTOLIC APPRECIATION WEEKEND | SATURDAY MORNING

Some teachings don't just inform the mind, they till the soil of the soul. That is exactly what happened when Apostle Brenda W. Colbert took the floor during "The Pour" during CGI's 31st Founders' Apostolic Appreciation Weekend.

As part of her signature teaching series Sound Doctrine | Settled. Sharp. Sound, Apostle B delivered a masterful, anointed, and wisdom-saturated session drawn from her latest book, Sidestepping the Mess: Leadership on Purpose.

Rooted in the imagery of a one-horse plow, fertile Georgia soil, and the raw, unpredictable strength of the ox, she unpacked ancient truths passed down through generations, truths her father, Reverend Melvin Williams Jr., planted in her long before she ever stood in a pulpit. She reminded us that leadership is not a clean assignment. A straight row is not an accident. It is the result of keeping your eyes fixed on a distant landmark while managing the mess in front of you.

And then she dropped this golden truth that echoed through the room:

"A clean crib means no ox. No ox means no harvest."

If you want the strength, the labor, and the increase, you cannot demand a mess-free environment. You simply learn to sidestep the mess the ox produces and keep your eyes on the harvest.

This teaching was not theory. It was generational wisdom forged in the field, sharpened by experience, and delivered with the precision of an apostolic voice that has walked the long rows and kept her eyes on the landmark.

We are grateful for Apostle Brenda W. Colbert, not just as a founder, but as a builder, a teacher, and a carrier of truth that produces lasting fruit.

The harvest belongs to the legacy of the labor. 🌱

FOUNDERS' APOSTOLIC APPRECIATION WEEKEND | FRIDAY NIGHT

The atmosphere was set, the expectation was high, and God showed up in a remarkable way. Calvary Gateway International opened its Founders' Apostolic Appreciation Weekend with a night that will not soon be forgotten.

What an incredible start to our Founders' Apostolic Appreciation Weekend as Bishop Ronnie Webb delivered a powerful message titled, "From Ashes to Elevation."

Through the lives of David and Joseph, we were reminded that God's process often includes challenges, setbacks, and seasons of preparation. What feels like punishment may actually be preparation. The trials we endure are not designed to destroy us, but to develop us for the next level of purpose and responsibility.

Key truths from the message:

• There is a process before the promise.
• Problems often precede promotion.
• God will use what you've been through for His glory.
• Every battle is preparing you for greater victory.
• No titles without work—it is time to produce.
• God doesn't always change the situation first; sometimes He changes us through it.

Just as David went from the ashes of Ziklag to victory, God still gives beauty for ashes. The very places of loss, disappointment, and testing can become testimonies of God's faithfulness and power.

We also received a prophetic word concerning the future of this ministry, that God is shifting things, bringing new faces, raising up faithful people, and surrounding this house with individuals who will support the vision and leadership God has established.

As we continue celebrating 31 years of faithful leadership and kingdom impact, we thank God for Apostle Melvin Colbert and Apostle Brenda Brenda W. Colbert and all He has accomplished through their obedience.

Join us Sunday morning as we conclude this powerful weekend of celebration and honor. Come expecting — God is not finished yet.

**31 years of faithfulness deserves every honor. To God be the glory.**

🔥 PENTECOST SUNDAY AT Calvary Gateway International WAS EVERYTHING GOD SAID IT WOULD BE! 🔥

The Holy Spirit showed up and showed OUT in this place! Pastor Jabari Colbert delivered a word that set hearts ablaze, broke chains, and reminded every soul in the room that we were NEVER meant to do this life alone. The message, *"Never Alone: The Power of Pentecost,"* drawn from John 14:15 and Acts 2, declared with fire and authority that Pentecost is not just an event on the calendar, it is EVIDENCE that God kept His promise, that Jesus fulfilled His word, and that the Holy Spirit is still moving, still filling, and still empowering His people TODAY.

The room was saturated with the presence of God. Then our Apostles Shannon C. Willis and Josephus Willis II stepped into a prophetic flow and hearts were healed, lives were restored, and souls recommitted themselves to the Lord. God even added to the church as new members answered the call! Faith was strengthened, agreements with fear were broken, and the people of God left different than they came.

We came in needing a touch and God gave us MORE than we asked for.

*"It is good for me to draw near to God."* — Psalm 73:28
