Raising children was never meant to be the responsibility of parents alone — it’s the responsibility of the Church too. As the body of Christ, we are called to help carry, encourage, disciple, and pray for the next generation.

• Join the kids discipleship team
• If you notice a parent struggling, offer to help
• Intercede for parents and their children
• Acknowledge the children in our church
• If children feel like a distraction, ask God to change your perspective and remind you they are a blessing, not a burden

The next generation needs more than a nursery or a classroom — they need a church family willing to love, lead, and pour into them. we believe discipleship starts now.

Mother’s Day at The Resting Place was such a special Sunday as we dedicated 14 beautiful children to the Lord. What a gift it is to stand alongside families as they commit to raising their children to know and follow Jesus.

We are so thankful for the mothers in our church — for your prayers, sacrifices, strength, tenderness, and faithfulness. Your love reflects the heart of God in so many quiet and powerful ways. Thank you for all you do.
