🐑✈️ Meet Shep!

At the beginning of the summer, Shepherd Augustus Fairway (“Shep” for short) set off on a mission: to travel the world with the people of Good Shepherd. Parishioners are taking Shep along on their summer adventures and sending us photos from wherever they happen to be.

So far, Shep has visited Anna Maria Island with Ashley, Si, and Owen Williams, explored Grand Central Station with Rob and Kate Tracy, joined Kathleen Bailie, Penny Brown, and Cissy Bowden for mahjong, met a frog with Sam Matson here at Good Shepherd, and traveled to St. Simons with the Bennett family.

Whether you’re crossing the country or relaxing in your own backyard, we’d love to see where Shep turns up next. Send your photos to the church office and follow along as we ask: Where in the World is Shep? 🌎

What a wonderful afternoon of food, fellowship, and community at our Parish Picnic! 🌭☀️

A special thank you to our grill masters for serving up delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, to Lynn Williams and her incredible team for organizing another fabulous parish event, to Ashley Williams for all she did behind the scenes to help make the day such a success, and to Jerry Woods, who so generously takes photos at our events!

We are grateful for every person who joined us and for the many hands that helped bring our parish family together. ❤️

Rain clouds tried to RSVP, but joy showed up louder. 🌧️🌼

We loved being part of the May Day Festival at The Byllesby Center and seeing so many of our Good Shepherd family serving, celebrating, and showing up with open hands and hearts. The rain didn’t dampen the day one bit…

The Byllesby Center is a beautiful outreach of the Episcopal Church, rooted in Harrisburg, walking alongside neighbors facing hardship with dignity, care, and consistency. We’re so grateful for the work they do, and for the chance to be part of it, even in small ways.

A little rain, a lot of love, and a reminder that community always shines through!
