Islamic Society of Augusta First Center The Islamic Society of Augusta has been serving the Augusta Muslim Community since 1976. A new Community Center was established in 2012.

The Islamic Society of Augusta operates in two locations. The principal location is the Islamic Community Center located at 465 Old Evans Rd. The old mosque has been renovated and it contains a banquet hall and separate area for prayers. This location is now called the "First Islamic Center" to differentiate it from the "Islamic Community Center".

A Taste of Ramadan 1447/2026
Saturday February 28, 2026

The Islamic Society of Augusta invites our non-Muslims friends and neighbors to join us in breaking the fast on Saturday February 28, 2026, at the First Islamic Center 3416 Middleton Rd., Martinez, GA 30907.

We will welcome our guests at 4:45 pm and the program will start at 5:00 pm.

There will be a short presentation titled “Muhammad: Mercy to the World".

Breaking the fast & Sunset prayer at 6:25 pm.

The seats are limited, and reservations are required not later than February 14, 2026.
