MCCOR Family and Friends: Yesterday our congregation was targeted by a phishing email that attempted to steal money by impersonating Rev. Marc. Please delete any email that 'appears' to be from Rev. Marc attempting to solicit gift cards or money. The email that was sent was: rev.marctrimmm@gmail. This is not our Pastor's email. Our church would never request donations in this manner. Our giving methods are clearly indicated in our bulletins and e-newsletter. Furthermore, our church presents SPECIFIC projects or fundraising opportunities when they arise but NEVER vague or generic ones. If there is a need within the church it will often be spoken of from the pulpit or through a video posting on social media. Any electronic communication from our church will be specific and to the point. Please contact our church office if you have questions and report the email that might have been sent to you requesting funds. We are sorry this has happened to our congregation.
