June 14 - Come as You Are Café—Spread the Word!
9 Church Street - Augusta

The Café will be open again at 2 PM on June 14, the Second Sunday of June in the Margery Grover Room at the church. Come as you are! Stay as long as you like. Invite a friend or a stranger. More than a cup of coffee and a snack (although the snacks are good), the Come as You Are Café is a ministry of personal connection. Sharing stories and hopes, listening to each other, and being present together are essential to building a loving community.
Come if you can. Pray for this ministry in any case.

Upcoming Café dates are July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11 and every Second Sunday of the month. If you would like to design or facilitate an outreach activity at one of the Cafés, please talk to one of us!

Sunday, June 14th is Children's Sunday! We will celebrate the children in worship and the child in us! Many scriptures will be shared by the children. We will sing songs from our childhood and hear familiar stories. Miss Lynne has returned and will be with us! AND, the children's handbell choir will share their music. Don't miss it!! Come like a child!!

June 7, 2026 - Please join us at 9AM this Sunday for worship in the Chapel on 9 Church Street. Pastor Angela will share the message "Love Anyway" Our Scripture Lessons will be: Romans 12: 9–17 and Matthew 5:43–48 and the Children's Message will be "It’s a Surprise!" The choir will share the anthem "Love Grows Here". AND we will celebrate Holy Communion!

Please join us for worship at 9AM in the Chapel this Sunday when we celebrate Pentecost. Pastor Mauren will be with us. The Green Street handbells return to the sanctuary to share their music!! We have figured out a way to make it work!! Our scripture reading is from Acts 2:1-21. It is going to be a spirit filled service!!

Please join us in the Chapel for worship this Sunday, the 17th of May. It has been designated as Miracle Sunday throughout UMC churches. There will be a global, one-time special offering taking place on May 17, 2026, designed to fund theological education in Africa, Europe, and the Philippines. We are encouraged to Love Boldy, Serve Joyfully and Lead Courageously. Our scripture lesson will be Romans 12:9-21. Our choir will share the anthem "We are Called".
