Church of God International, CGI Auburndale The Church of God International is based in Tyler, Texas. We also have churches in Jamaica, the Philippines, and Australia.

Incorporated in 1978, CGI has ministers and congregations scattered throughout the United States and Canada. We welcome any and all who seek a better understanding of God's Word, in peace. Our mission is to spread the True Word of God. Therefore, we look to the scriptures for guidance and inspiration. We cordially invite you to join us for Sabbath Services and to grow with us in the knowledge of God's Word.

The Christian life isn't described as a life without struggle—it's a battle. We face recurring weaknesses, persistent temptations, and moments when we wonder if real change is possible. But Christ doesn't promise rewards to those who never struggled. He promises them "to him that overcometh" (Revelation 3:21).
Victory isn't just the absence of sin—it's the presence of righteousness. "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). When we stumble, we don't quit. We repent, rise, and return to the throne of grace. Overcoming means following Christ's example, yielding to God's Spirit, and pressing forward even when the battle feels long.
You haven't failed because you're still fighting. Keep your head down into the wind. Stay close to God. The overcomer shall inherit all things, and Christ will say, "Well done good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21)
