Mi lectura de hoy fue de los Salmos 104-106. Estos se conocen como Salmos de Aleluya. El 104 es el primero. Los comentarios judíos, el Talmud y el Midrash, destacan que se relaciona con la derrota de los impíos.

Mucha gente asocia la alabanza con la derrota de los impíos. Me parece interesante que el primer Aleluya signifique «¡Alabad al Señor!». Creo que el salmista también lo entendió.

Apocalipsis 19:1-2
1 Después de esto oí una gran voz de mucha gente en el cielo, que decía: «¡Aleluya! ¡La salvación, la gloria, la honra y el poder pertenecen al Señor nuestro Dios! 2 Porque verdaderos y justos son sus juicios; pues ha juzgado a la gran ra**ra que corrompió la tierra con su fornicación, y ha vengado la sangre de sus siervos que le fue impuesta por ella».

Este es el primer aleluya del Nuevo Testamento. También tiene que ver con el juicio. Me pareció interesante.

My reading for today was from Psalms 104-106. These are called hallelujah Psalms. 104 is the first. The Jewess commentaries called the Talmud and the Midrash call attention to the fact that it is in connection with the overthrow of the wicked.
So many people connect praise with the overthrow of the wicked. I believe that it's interesting that the first hallelujah which means praise ye the Lord. I believe that the psalmist understood this too.

Rev. 19:1-2
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great w***e, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

This is the first hallelujah in the New testament. It also has to do with judgement. I thought it was interesting.

Durante los últimos dos días, mi lectura se centró en los Salmos 90-103. Quería hablar sobre el Salmo 91, uno de los más conocidos. Hace años, alguien señaló que este Salmo contiene tres "porque".

Salmo 91:9-10 (RV60)
[9] Porque has puesto al Señor, mi refugio, al Altísimo, por tu morada; [10] no te sobrevendrá mal alguno, ni plaga alguna se acercará a tu casa.

Este es el primero. Él habita en las alabanzas de su pueblo. Así es como lo hacemos nuestra morada.

Salmo 91:14 (RV60)
[14] Por cuanto en mí ha puesto su amor, yo también lo libraré; lo pondré en alto, por cuanto ha conocido mi nombre.

¿Lo hemos convertido en nuestro primer amor? ¿Conoces los nombres de Dios? En hebreo, los nombres tienen significado. Hay un hombre llamado John Paul Jackson que escribió un libro titulado «365 nombres y características de Dios». Te ayudará a conocer quién es Dios. Ver comentarios.

My reading for the last two days was from Psalms 90-103. I wanted to speak about Psalm 91. This is one of the best known Psalms. Years ago someone pointed out that there were three becauses in this Psalm.

Psalm 91:9-10 KJV
[9] Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, Even the most High, thy habitation; [10] There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

This is the first. He inhabitants the praises of His people. That is how We make Him our habitation.

Psalm 91:14 KJV
[14] Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

Have we made Him our first love? Do you know the names of God. In Hebrew names have a significance. There's a man named John Paul Jackson who wrote a book called 365 names and characteristics of God. It will let you know who God is. See comments.

Mi lectura de hoy fue de los Salmos 80-83. Quería hablar sobre el Salmo 83. Este es otro salmo de imprecación. Estudié este salmo antes de saber que existían salmos de imprecación. Este es el único lugar en la Biblia donde aparece la palabra «confederado».

Hay una breve historia de las victorias de Israel, y el salmista las pronunció como una maldición sobre los enemigos de Israel. Debemos recordar las victorias que Dios nos ha dado. Quería destacar un versículo:

Salmo 83:16 (RV60)
[16] «Llenad sus rostros de vergüenza, para que busquen tu nombre, oh Jehová».

El salmista oraba por su salvación. Creo que siempre debemos tener presente la salvación de nuestros enemigos.

My reading for today was from Psalms 80-83. I wanted to speak about Psalm 83. This is another Psalm of imprecation. I studied this Psalm before I knew there were Psalms of imprecation. This is the only place in the Bible where the word Confederate appears.
There is a short history of Israel's victories and the psalmist pronounced them like a curse over Israel's enemies. We should remind ourselves of the victories that God has given us. I wanted to point out one verse.

Psalm 83:16 KJV
[16] Fill their faces with shame; That they may seek thy name, O LORD.

The psalmist was praying for their salvation. I believe that we should always have our enemies salvation in mind.

Mi lectura de hoy fue de los Salmos 78-79. Quería hablar sobre el Salmo 78. Este es el primero de cuatro salmos históricos. Encontré este versículo:

Salmo 78:2 (RV60)
[2] Abriré mi boca en parábolas; proclamaré dichos oscuros de antaño:

Esto se cita en Mateo 13:35. En hebreo, la palabra parábola tiene más de un significado, al igual que «dichos oscuros». En este versículo significa dar ejemplos para enseñar. El significado de «dichos oscuros» es como desatar un n**o para que puedas ver los milagros hechos por Israel.
En el versículo tres se afirma que estas son las cosas que se transmitieron oralmente. Hoy en día, hay personas que guardan registros de todo. Antes, contaban historias. Para muchos, se volvieron increíbles, como las historias que nos contaban nuestros abuelos. Hemos llegado al punto de creer cualquier cosa que alguien escriba en una historia. Quizás deberíamos investigar un poco por nuestra cuenta.

My reading for today was from Psalms 78-79. I wanted to speak about Psalm 78. This is the first of four historical Psalms. I found this verse.

Psalm 78:2 KJV
[2] I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

This is quoted in Matthew 13:35. In Hebrew the word parable has more than one meaning, so does dark saying. In this verse it means to give examples for instruction. The meaning of dark saying is like untying a knot so you can see the miracles done for Israel.
In verse three it is stated that these are the things that were handed down by word of mouth. Today we have people who keep records of everything. Back then they told stories. To many they became unbelievable, just like stories our grandparents told us. We have come to the point where we believe anything someone writes in a story. Maybe we should do some of our own research.

Mi lectura de hoy fue de los Salmos 73-77. Quería hablar sobre el Salmo 73. Este salmo me ha interesado durante mucho tiempo.

El salmista comienza hablando de la envidia hacia los malvados. Muchas veces observamos a personas que hacen cosas terribles y pensamos en lo bien que viven. Muchas veces parece que se salen con la suya a pesar de saber que son malas. ¿Cuántas veces envidiamos a personas así? Pero no pensamos en su final.

Personalmente, creo que el salmista tuvo una revelación de Dios. Por muy bien que les vaya a esas personas, Dios no las deja entrar al cielo. Los placeres que tienen ahora no les servirán de nada en el in****no. Yo prefiero el cielo.

My reading for today was from Psalms 73-77. I wanted to speak about Psalm 73. This has been a Psalm that has held my interest for a long time.
The psalmist starts talking about being envious of the wicked. Many times we watch people who do terrible things and we think about how well they live. Many times they seem to get away with things that we know are evil. How many times do people envy people like that. But we don't think of their end.
Personally I believe that the psalmist had a revelation from God. No matter how great things seem for people like that, God does not let people like that into heaven. The pleasures they have now will not help them in hell. I'd rather have heaven.
