Good morning everyone. As of 10-1-2025 we have our Mens Stuctured Sober Living Transitional House open in Haines city. We are accepting applications for 6 men that are being released from prison, jail, drug treatment center or similar programs. We can also consider men who may not be able to afford costs of living such as rent, utilities etc. This oppurtunity would be good for someone looking for a room to rent that is willing to adhere to the rules of the home. God has led me to open a 6-7 bed Christian men's transitional home in Haines city. I have already purchased the home and it is currently being partially remodeled on the inside. The home will help Christian men with nonviolent records who is being released from incarceration or drug treatment facilities transition back into society. The home will be run similar to a faith based institution with rules and a structured environment.
We are in need of 5 single bed frames and 4 small chests of drawers, living room furniture and dining room table with chairs for 8 people. I will also be looking for volunteers to minister and encourage the men and will need volunteers to transport them to and from church on Sundays and possibly on Wednesdays and possibly doctor's appointment and the Dmv.
If you know of anyone who would maybe have these items in part or full and or are willing to volunteer in support of this ministry, please contact Rickey Welch at 863-934-0386
