These are our Ballet IIA dancers in our 2026 Spring Recital performing to Dancing on the Waves by Bethel Music and We The Kingdom. What a joy and beautiful time of reflection calling us to worship!
“ I am going to read to you a passage from the book of Matthew. “Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?””
Matthew 14:25-31
Like Peter, we need faith! Faith that we can trust our Heavenly Father with every part of our lives. Paul says in Galatians 2:29 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Christ is so trustworthy, that we can give Him complete control. We can surrender fully, burn our ships, jump into the water, and trust that if we keep our eyes set on Him, we will not only walk, but dance on the waves.
