Day 40 – Saturday, April 4

Scripture – Matthew 27:59–60

Reflection

Saturday is the day of silence.

The promise was given. The Cross has happened. But resurrection has not yet been seen.

There are seasons in life that feel like this.

Quiet. Uncertain. In-between.

Where in my life am I waiting?

Do I trust God in silence as much as in celebration?

Can I sit in hope without visible evidence?

Today, sit in stillness for a few extra minutes.
📍Write one statement of trust.

Prayer

Father,
Help me trust You in the silence.
Anchor my heart in hope.
I believe resurrection is coming.
Amen.

Day 39 – Friday, April 3

Scripture – Isaiah 53:5
Reflection

Today we slow down.

The Cross is not symbolic. It is substitution.

Jesus carried what we could not. He bore what we deserved. He absorbed what would have separated us from God.

Where have I minimized the cost of grace?

Do I truly understand that the Cross was personal?

What does it mean that He was wounded for me?

Sit quietly for a few moments before writing anything.

📍Write one sentence of gratitude.

Prayer
Jesus,
Thank You for carrying my sin.
Thank You for absorbing my shame.
Thank You for making peace possible.
Amen.

Day 38 – Thursday, April 2

Scripture – John 13:14–15

Reflection

Jesus washed feet knowing the Cross was ahead.

He served knowing betrayal was near. He loved knowing denial was coming.

Love that serves does not depend on return.

Where am I withholding kindness because it is not reciprocated?

Is there someone difficult I need to serve with grace?

What would quiet obedience look like today?

📍Write one act of unseen service.

Prayer

Father,
Teach me to serve without expectation.
Let my obedience be quiet and sincere.
Amen.

Day 37 – Wednesday, April 1

Scripture – Mark 10:45

Reflection

Sacrifice flows from love.

Jesus did not demand service. He offered Himself.

Serving often requires inconvenience. It requires time. It requires attention.

Where have I expected others to serve me?
Who around me needs quiet support?

What sacrificial act could reflect Christ’s heart?
📍Write one person you will serve intentionally.

Prayer
Lord,
Make me a servant.
Let my life reflect Your generosity.
Amen.

Day 36 – Tuesday, March 31

Scripture – Hebrews 5:8

Reflection
Obedience is refined through difficulty.

Jesus did not obey only when it was easy. He obeyed when it was costly.

Where is obedience stretching me?

Is there something I know is right but have delayed?

What fear keeps me from full obedience?

📍Write one act of obedience you need to take.

Prayer

Father,
Strengthen me to obey You fully.
Even when it costs comfort.
Even when it requires courage.
Amen.

Day 35 – Monday, March 30

Scripture – Philippians 2:5–8

Reflection

The Cross begins with humility.

Jesus did not cling to position. He did not demand recognition. He chose obedience over status.

Humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is thinking rightly about yourself before God.

Where has pride subtly shaped my reactions?

Have I resisted correction or accountability?

What would humility look like in my relationships this week?

📍Write one area where you will choose humility.

Prayer
Lord Jesus,
Shape my mindset to reflect Yours.
Remove pride.
Teach me the strength of humility.
Amen.

Day 34 – Saturday, March 28

Scripture – Revelation 21:5

God is a God of restoration.

Newness is part of His nature. He redeems. He restores. He rebuilds.

Where do I need to believe that renewal is possible?

What part of my story feels unfinished or broken?

Am I willing to trust Him with restoration?

📍Write one area where you need newness.

Prayer

Lord,
Make all things new in me.
Restore what has been strained.
Renew what has grown weary.

Amen.
