Giving charity in the month of Ramadan holds the highest virtue because its rewards are multiplied by Allah (SWT). The Prophet ﷺ said that the best charity is the one given during Ramadan, and he himself became even more generous when Ramadan arrived. Charity also serves as an expiation for sins and a means of opening the doors of blessings and sustenance.

We are reaching out to share an important milestone for the Auburn Islamic Center (AIC) — a place that means so much to all of us. Our masjid is more than just a building. It is a center for community service, a space for learning and spiritual growth, and a gathering place where meaningful relationships are built.

Alhamdulillah, our community continues to grow rapidly. While this growth is a blessing, it also means that we have officially outgrown our current space. From crowded prayer times to limited room for classes and programs, the need for expansion has become clear.

To continue serving our families, youth, and future generations, we are raising funds to build a new masjid that can accommodate our growing community and expand our services.

We are pleased to announce that Eid al-Fitr prayer will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023.

As it falls on a weekday, we understand that some of you may need to adjust your schedules accordingly. We have arranged for two prayers to accommodate everyone's schedule inshaallah.

The first early prayer will be held at masjid starting with takbeer at 7 am and the prayer at 7:15 am.

The second prayer will be held at Town Creek Park, with the venue opening at 8 am and takbeer starting at 8:30 am, followed by the prayer at 9 am.

More detailed information regarding the day's events will be provided soon.

May Allah accept our prayers and allow us to reach eid together🙏🏻
