WORD FOR THE DAY
Did you pass God's Test?
When God plans to use you, He creates a period of trials and isolation to test and refine you. The tests of faith, humility, lusts, discernment and perseverence. He will transform you to something new that not even your old friends will understand you. And when He begins to use you people will misunderstand you, they will put a pressure on you to perform, pressure to conform to theirs and your old desires, infact they will be intent not to want to understand you. No amount of explanation you give them of your transformation will make them understand. For God's ways are not the ways of men and the will off the spirit will always clash with that of the flesh. Do not care even if you remain alone, for God is greater than any of us, remember none of His prophets in scriptures had friends, they all walked in isolation.
So when you are going through financial difficulty, or stress, lack of a job, a disease thats taking a toll on you or a family member and finances, whatever hardship. Know that God knows and He is not punishing you, He is testing you. Remember the Bible says many are called but few are chosen, God does not use everyone but a select few, He is a God who works in scarcity not plenty for His power is greater in your weaknesses for that is where His name is glorified. For in plenty there is only foolishness and pride of men. He will use your situation as testimony and witness to His greatness but only if you PASS THE TEST. And at His own timing and will, He will remove the hardship from you just as He did for His servant Job and added unto him more than double of what he had before his troubles. But also remember God's timing is not our timing, He will not immediately answer your prayers always for you cannot also force your will unto Him but instead align yourself with His will. It took about 4000 years between the sin of Adam and Eve for Christ to be born for us to be saved from eternal dalmnation, so why would you think your timing is God's timing?! He is slow to anger, patient and loving, His ways are perfect and so is His timing. His ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts, for His are far much greater and apart from us like the heaven and the Earth.
Lastly, in your hardships, remember Jesus Christ had to endure and perservere the test of a gruesome death at the cross, yet He is the son of God, so you and I can be saved. After He passed the test, God the Father exalted Him to be our King of Kings and Lord of Lords, sitted at His right hand on the throne, to be the advocate and judge of us all, so then WHO ARE YOU? to curse and complain about God because of your hardships. Hold onto your faith in Him through Christ and you will triump in the end, it doesnt have to be in this world for in the after life your reward will be far much greater. Remember this world is not our world we are just passing through it like a smoke that appears and disappears, eternity is far much greater after life on earth, make a right standing with Him through Christ. Eternity is a very long time to be separated from His presence.
