All Are Equal in Christ Jesus

We are a community of people who were told, in one way or another, that we were not welcome in church. For some of us, it was because we are LGBTQ+. For others, it was because we rejected the bigotry that fundamentalist and more moderate mainstream churches promote or foster. There are even some of us who were just not “a good fit” for the congregation. Allsouls seeks to be a refuge for displaced Christians, the marginalized, and those seeking the love of God.

WE ARE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSALISTS+

Following the example of the Christian church in the first five centuries, we are Christians who 1) worship the Almighty God in the persons of the Holy Trinity, 2) radically love and accept others, 3) joyfully await everlasting life in the loving embrace of God, 4) proclaim that by the power of the redemption of Christ Jesus all souls shall be saved from eternal pain and suffering, 5) respect all people and support them their spiritual journey towards accepting the person God has created them to be in the image of the divine, 6) look to science to explain our world while celebrating the holy mysteries of our faith in things unseen, and 7) seek knowledge of God through the inspiration of the holy spirit in the Hebrew and Christian scriptures, art, philosophy, and scientific discovery.
