Well everyone, ITS HERE!!!! Deer season is officially underway here in Kentucky! I'm excited for this season like I am every year! Things are a little different this year, Brett Sowell is in Israel walking the same paths as our lord and savior so he will miss opening weekend for something pretty surreal! I've had some activity on one of the cameras this last week. The same doe and fawns coming through twice a day usually. Didn't get anything from Thursday-today. But getting excited to see these young ones grow! Season is right around the corner!!

Gave a doe a dirt nap last night on opening day of bow season in southern Illinois! God sure led that arrow. I miss ranged it and just barely hit her. But that's meat in the freezer and the first deer for the hunters for Christ team of 2016!! Thank you Lord!!~Brandon

He has a heart for the outdoors that is contagious. Thank You Lord for your creation and great people! Thankful that You use hunting to bring us together! Amen!
