Farmville is excited to officially welcome Scott Prince as our new Associate Pastor of Worship Ministry.

A little about Scott:
Scott has served in ministry for more than 20 years, primarily as a worship pastor and student pastor, serving churches in Tennessee and Colorado. Most recently, he served for nearly 11 years on staff at Ken Caryl Church in Littleton, Colorado before he and his family moved to Alabama in the fall of 2025 to be closer to family. Scott and his wife, Tammy, have been married for 22 years and have two daughters: Abby, 21, who attends University of Arkansas, and Molly, 18, who attends Southern Union State Community College and plans to continue at Auburn University. Scott grew up in church, was baptized at an early age, sensed God’s call to ministry a few years after college, and was ordained in 2011. He is a graduate of Auburn University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

🙏 Week of Prayer Day 3: Meet Will Buchanan
Tappahannock, Virginia

Once addicted to pills & he**in, Will Buchanan thought his life was over. But God had other plans. Today, Will is a pastor in Hanover, VA, one of many transformed through The Fix, a church plant & recovery program. Only Jesus makes this kind of change possible.

“Will’s like an altar of remembrance. People see him and say, “Wow, look what God’s done in his life—I know he must have a purpose for me too.” Fred Weymouth

Every Sunday morning, Will, shows up wearing his best gray suit. He’s definitely not what he once was.

“I used to be lost in addiction,” Will says. “First it was pills, then he**in. And if I could’ve found anything worse, I would’ve done that too. But then God radically changed me, and now I don’t even look like the person I used to be.”

They met when Will was at his drug-addicted worst, not long after Fred, along with his wife, Casey, started The Fix, a church plant and residential recovery program aimed at reaching people who are struggling with homelessness, drug addiction, and alcoholism. But after completing the program God called Will to preach!

“We spend a year with people,” Fred says. “We walk them through recovery, we teach them about Jesus, and now we also make sure we introduce them to Will. When he came here, God made him a new person. Our students see him pastoring and can know God has a plan for their lives, too.”

Our mission statement is, “Reach, teach, and send.” The only reason we can do that is because people give to Annie Armstrong.

➡️ Prayer Requests:
📌 God to thoroughly equip Will so he can lead his church well.
📌 The men and women at The Fix to discover the gospel purpose God has for their lives.
📌 Fred and others at The Fix to build witnessing relationships with people who need healing and hope.
