BISHOP FRANK McLeod is the Pastor and founder of God's House of Prayer Holiness Churches in Auburn, Alabama and Camp Hill, Alabama. He is also founder and Presiding Bishop of Houses of Prayer, Inc., an organization for all denominational churches. He is a graduate of Deborah Cannon Wolfe High School in Shorter, Alabama and trade school operated by, then Tuskegee Institute. He obtained an A.S. degr

ee from Southern Union Community College. Later he completed coursework toward a bachelor’s degree at Troy State University. In 1968, the Lord called Bishop McLeod to be saved; however, 14 years passed before he accepted that calling. He has been baptized in Jesus' name. He was later filled with the Holy Ghost. He served as Head Deacon under Bishop Reginald Burton at Tabernacle Church of God in Opelika. He served as deacon, ordained minister and later, Elder, under Bishop Abraham Harris, Sr. In 1994, he assisted Bishop Dow Perry, Pastor of Shorter Church of God. In 1996, God moved Pastor McLeod into his own work, where he became Founder and Pastor of God's House of Prayer Holiness Church, Auburn, Alabama. During that time, he was elevated to the office of Bishop, May 1999, by Bishop Dr. George F. Austin, Pastor of Pentecostal Faith Holiness Church, Tuskegee P.A.W. A new church building was dedicated in October 1999, thereby establishing the church in Camp Hill. This dedicated was the result of an outreach ministry that began in 1998. In July 2001, God's House of Prayer held its first convention, during which Bishop McLeod founded Houses of Prayer, Inc., where he serves as Presiding Bishop. In addition to his work in the ministry, Bishop McLeod dedicated 27 years of employment service to West Point Stevens Mill. The last 12 of those years were dedicated to him being a part of their management team, before retiring. Now that he’s retired, Bishop is able to dedicate more time to the furthering of the ministry, and his own business of real estate. Bishop Frank McLeod’s vision and goal is to bring thousands of souls to the Lord. He is doing so by bringing different denominations and churches together.
