We will be having a meal for Gayle Howard’s family on Saturday. They should be back from the burial between 6-6:30. Melody will order the chicken from Elkton, but everyone else needs to bring sides, desserts, and sodas. I’ll get rolls.

God is pouring out his blessings at Liberty!! His Spirit is so very present!

Sunday Morning
Bro Tony preached on the qualifications for deacons as we prepare to nominate a few Godly men to serve our congregation. Please continue to be in prayer that we would all heed His guidance! But his sermon wasn't just for deacons, but an example of how WE ALL should be servants!

As always, the children were locked in for the Sermon in the Sack - Jesus is the only one who can erase our sins!!

Sunday Night was a service of worshipping in song!! We want to thank all of those who blessed us with a special song - just look at those brave kiddos making a joyful noise to the Lord!!!

Wondering how you can LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, AND BE A SERVANT this week?
Here are a few ways:

LOVE GOD by mentoring and encouragingour youth:
✝️ Graduates: As we continue to honor our Class of 2026, please remember to fill out the journaling Bibles placed in the sanctuary for each of them. Please take a moment to:
1) Highlight your favorite scriptures that have guided you in your walk with Christ
2) Write a brief note of encouragement or a prayer in the margins

LOVE PEOPLE by meeting the needs of those most vulnerable:
✝️Life Choice: We have Life Choice baby bottles for each family to take to fill up with change, bills, or a check to be turned back in to the church on Father’s Day. This will help a great ministry in our community, Life Choice Pregnancy Care Center.

BE A SERVANT help with maintaining God's house:
✝️Parking Lot: We have received $12,000 in donations for our parking lot improvements!!!
As we work to maintain and improve our church home, we are asking the congregation to prayerfully consider supporting the paving of our parking lot through a one-time donation or a faith pledge.
How You Can Help:

By Pledge: If you would like to make a pledge toward the project to be fulfilled over the coming weeks, please speak with Debbie Smith to record your commitment.

Good Wednesday morning all! We wanted to remind you all of some important dates! We don't want anyone to miss an opportunity to learn, serve, and fellowship! So, mark your calendars 📅

✝️Wed., May 27th: Freedom Kids at 6:15 - The kids and youth will eat, have a lesson, and continue working on the musical, “Down by the Creek Bank.” Prayer meeting at 6:30.

✝️Sun., May 31st: Next Sunday night, we will have 5th Sunday Night Singing. 🎶

✝️Sun., June 7th: The kids and youth will present the musical “Down by the Creek Bank” during our morning worship service.

✝️Sun., June 7th: Samson Hightower will be preaching the evening service at 6 p.m.

✝️Sun., June 14th: The church will vote on three new deacons during our morning service.

✝️ June 14th-18th 5:30-7:30 Vacation Bible School! The theme this year is “Illumination Station-Shining A Light On Who Jesus Really Is."
