She began during slavery,. Unknown to their masters, slaves secretly met for prayer and praise services in the home of Mrs. After the Emancipation Proclamation was signed and slave masters awarded property to their slaves, Mrs. Millie Tyson used her property for the Church and donated it for a Church Site.. The Church was named in honor of the Tyson Family's dedication and donation. Tyson Chapel A

ME Zion Church is one of the seventeen churches on the Union Springs District in the Alabama Conference of the Alabama/Florida Episcopal District. The current Pastor is Reverend Julius Maye, The Presiding Elder is Dr. James Cobb, and the Presiding Bishop is Bishop Dennis V. Church service is held First and Third Sundays at 11:00 a.m. Church School is held every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. Bible Study and Training is held every fourth Sunday immediately after Church School. We are excited about expanding our Christian service.

It has been quite a while since Tyson Chapel has posted. We are still alive even in the midst of this COVID 19 Pandemic.

The 154th Session of the Alabama Annual Conference closed on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Praise Be To God, Pastor Padro Smith was re-appointed as the Shepherd of this Flock!

What a WORD we received this morning from Pastor Padro Smith!
Matthew 11:28-30
"Getting a Handle on Your Burdens"

The thoughts to remember:

1. People are looking for peace in the wrong places.
2. Take your burdens to the right place.
3. Fretting and praying just don't go together.
4. Friends are not the place to take your burden. Job can help us
with this.
5. Fleeing is not the place to take your burdens. Running away is
not the answer.
6. Fighting is not the place to take your burdens. You just might
be fighting what God is trying to do in your life. God can put
trials in your life to strengthen you. If your faith can't be
trusted, then your pay can't be trusted.
7. Get a hold of your burdens by putting them in the hands of
Jesus. God is ready to bridge you over through His Son, Jesus
Christ.

We pray that this message is a blessing to someone!!

Ephesian 6:10-17
Title: "New Armor"

Thoughts to remember:

1. When we are fighting in this army, we need "new armor."
2. We are in a spiritual warfare, don't fight until you get tired, you
gotta fight until you die.
3. If you are not fighting in God's army, you are fighting for satan.
4. We got to be a soldier in the army of the Lord. We don't fight
our battles like normal people.
5. When God has been good to you, don't let what others say
matter. Nobody but Jesus pulled you through.
6. Put your trust in Jesus! 2021 is going to be a breeze. Put on
your armor and get ready to run on in this new year for Jesus.
