We have been monitoring the weather forecast since yesterday to find out if it’s safe for our or not.

The update of the weather still showing the possibility of inclement conditions.

Dear parents,

We would like to ask each parent to volunteer for 30 min (11:30 am to noon) on Sundays at least one time/semester. The mission is to stand in front of the Masjid (toward the street) during recess time to make sure that kids are not going out. Please sign-up for this "Recess Duty" to help keeping our kids safe.

As you know, parents provide snacks for the WIS at least once per semester.

Some parents miss the chance to contribute. Therefore, we hope this signup link allows everybody the pleasure of sharing.

We have around 60 students, the snack can be either chips and juice or Pizza, as you know kids love Pizza, We only serve cheese pizza.

Recently families (Jazahom Allah Khair) start providing lunch for the volunteer teachers (homemade or pizza), the teacher signup will help us avoid duplication and become more organized. During lunchtime, we have about 15-20 teachers and volunteers.

Snacks for students are the parent's responsibility at least once per semester while teachers lunch is voluntary.

Weekend Islamic School Academic Progress and HW

Dear Parents:

Yesterday, our students went home with a logbook made of three parts; This logbook is very important and supposed to serve three purposes.

Student learning progress. (White Papers)
Student Homework. (Purple Papers)
Practice. (White Papers)

Student learning progress: Teachers will document the progress and provide their recommendations for the student.

Homework will be assigned clearly for the parents.

When the teacher asks the parents to supervise certain duration practice, this means we are requesting the parents to supervise their child for the specified duration on the teaching application i.e. Qaida Noorania Application.

Practice and parent follow up; the parents are required to time their children homework practice.

We want our kids to practice using Al Qaida Alnoorania Application only, please just let the kids listen and repeat after the application. We don’t want our kids to pick up any accent.
We want the kids to practice 10 – 15 minutes daily on the specified homework.

Your cooperation is extremely important.

Please make sure that, the students carry this logbook all times
