Greetings Summer Hill,

Due to the cold wet weather forecasted for tomorrow morning, we are canceling the Memorial Day Service at the cemetery flagpole. This is the first time in recent memory that the weather hasn't cooperated, so we have been very fortunate.
Please spread the word to others who may not see this post.

Please plan to attend our 10:30 AM worship service for a very special service with the Rite of Confirmation and the Sacrament of Holy Communion, as we also remember all of our Service Members who gave all.

Have a blessed Pentecost and Confirmation Sunday.

The Summer Hill Youth Group had its escape room event tonight. The kids solved puzzles and obstacles together to escape four rooms.

In the Egyptian Plague room, they learned that God is powerful, keeps His promises, and it is important to listen to Him. In the Disciples of Jesus room, they learned that God chooses ordinary people to follow Him. We don't have to be perfect, and we can even follow Him even when we are scared. We need to trust where God leads us and work together, just as the Disciples did. In the Armor of God room, they learn how God protects our hearts and minds. We can be strong when we know God’s truth. In the Sanctuary Obstacle Course, they learned that life is a journey. It's not about who is fastest, but about finishing well, helping each other, and not giving up!
