As we acknowledge the contributions of workers this Labor Day, may we remember that our own daily efforts are a sacred offering. Whatever we do - our jobs, chores, or any task - we should do it with full effort and dedication. God sees our effort, and He will reward us for striving to best honor and serve Him! 🙏🏼❤️🛠️🧰

September 3 is Saint Gregory the Great’s feast day!⁣

Saint Gregory was born in Rome around the year 540, and became Chief Magistrate of the city at the age of 34. He built 6 monasteries in Sicily, and another seventh in Rome. At the age of 35, he then became a priest.⁣

Eventually, Saint Gregory went on to become Pope, and was unanimously elected. Above all else, he is most well-known for his contributions to the Liturgy of the Mass and Office, and is considered one of the four great Doctors of the Latin Church.

This week, we honor St. Teresa of Calcutta (Feast Day: September 5th)!

Mother Teresa’s life was a testament to the power of humble service. While she became a global icon of charity, she never lost sight of the individual. She believed that we don’t need to perform "big" miracles to change the world; we only need to infuse our smallest daily tasks with the love of Christ.

In a world that often measures success by scale and speed, St. Teresa reminds us that holiness is found in the simple act of showing up for the person right in front of us. Let us ask for her intercession today, that we may find the great love needed to serve our neighbors.

As our children, teachers, administrators, and school staff begin a new school year, we pray that God blesses each of you with a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, friendship, patience, and joy.

May God guide our students, give them confidence and courage, and keep them safe throughout the school year. May He bless our teachers and staff with wisdom, strength, and compassion as they inspire and care for our children.

The golden hours of summer are slowly fading, and for many of us, life is about to pick up its pace. Whether you’re heading back to school or just feeling the shift in the air, remember that this transition is intentional. 🍂✨

God isn't just the God of our "rest" seasons; He is the architect of our "busy" seasons, too. We don't have to rush into the next chapter: we can walk into it with confidence, knowing He has already prepared the way.

❓ Question for the week: As we prepare to shift gears from summer into fall, what is one thing you’re most grateful for from this past season?
