A new school year is beginning! Join us this Sunday, August 2nd as we celebrate the blessing of the backpacks and next week on August 9th as the program year kicks off with a Rally Day breakfast.

We asked and you answered! Last week the shelves of our Blessings Box were bare. On Sunday, we asked for donations and were soon overwhelmed by the number of high quality items brought to the church. Thank you for donating so many delicious items (including many excellent sources of protein) so that we can offer these gifts to our neighbors.

We had a wonderful time at our first FPC Summer Together gathering this past Sunday! Members of all ages gathered for fellowship and a meal. Youth and children packed 50 bags of food items to be distributed through the Auburn Sustenance Program and adults had a meaningful study on what it means to pursue the mission of Christ's church.

Parking will be available in the First Presbyterian of Auburn lot for the Argentina vs. Iceland soccer game Tuesday, June 9!

Lot opens at 3pm - $45 per spot.

First come, first served. All money raised will go towards the youth summer retreats and conferences.

FPC Auburn is grateful to continue supporting the wonderful work of the Domestic Violence Intervention Center through our Pentecost Offering this year! Although the PC(USA) no longer includes this offering in its Special Offerings calendar, last month our session voted unanimously to continue this meaningful tradition, with 100% of the offering going directly to DVIC.

You can participate by placing your gift in the offering plate, mailing it to the church office (please note "Pentecost" on the memo line or envelope), or by giving online at www.fpcauburn.org/give and selecting “special offering.”

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us continue to support our neighbors in need!

It was a beautiful Sunday for a congregational luncheon on the grounds to celebrate our graduating high school seniors and fellowship together as a church family. Many thanks to the Congregational Life Committee - especially our chefs!
