✨ PASTOR’S CORNER: Meet Pastor Patty Granato! ✨
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Pastor Patty Granato!
Patty is often behind the scenes making sure everything is running smoothly. You’ll find her giving announcements on Sunday mornings and helping wherever she’s needed; whether that’s downstairs with the children, helping with hospitality, or simply stepping in to lend a hand. Her heart for serving others is evident in all she does! ❤️
We asked Patty a few questions so you can get to know her a little better:
1. What do you hope someone experiences the very first time they walk through our doors?
To know that you can come as you are and experience, a sense of welcomeness, hospitality, and acceptance.
2. Why did God call you to pastor this church?
Our church believes God has given each of us a gift and a purpose in life to share with others. Since my previous career focused on guiding and helping young families be successful, it made for a natural transition into a pastoral position.
3. What’s one misconception people have about church?
A common misconception about church is that it’s mainly about rules and regulations, being judged, and living a life full of restrictions. In reality, church is about growing in your relationship with God, experiencing His love and grace, and being part of a community that encourages and supports one another.
4. How has God changed your life personally?
The Lord has given me a meaningful life and completely changed my outlook on it. Through having a real relationship with God and knowing His Word, I know that no matter what life brings, I will never have to walk through it alone.
5. Outside of ministry, what are some things you enjoy doing with your family?
I love to entertain, especially my family! I enjoy making specialty cakes. I also love to travel, walk and hike, and spend time catching up with good friends.
