Sometimes we know exactly what to say to God. We know the right words, the right things to ask for, and even the right way we think we’re supposed to sound. But what happens when we stop trying to say the right thing and simply tell God what’s true?

Honesty gives God room to work in the places we’ve been trying to hide.

You don’t have to come with the perfect words or a perfectly put-together life. You can come just as you are and exactly with what you feel.

The fear. The frustration. The questions. The struggle.

God already knows what’s there. He simply invites you to bring it into His presence.

We believe God has placed us in this community on purpose.

This week, we prayed over our church, our families, and the communities around us. We prayed for God to move in homes, marriages, workplaces, and in the lives of people who haven’t walked through our doors yet.

May we never become comfortable with what God has already done. May we stay surrendered, make room for people to encounter Jesus, and continue building something that goes Beyond Us.

God, do it here. Do it now. Do it through us.

God looks at our circumstances from a different vantage point than we do.

We think we’d be better off if the circumstance passed quickly or the hard thing never happened at all. We see the pain and want out. But God sees what can be formed in us as we walk through it.

There are some valleys we have to walk through. And while God may not remove the circumstance, He can strengthen us through it.

So if God hasn’t removed what you’ve been praying about, don’t assume He isn’t working.

He may be using what you want to escape to build something in you that lasts.

Sundays are the best! 💙

Today we pray over our community in Aubrey, Cross Roads, and the surrounding areas, as well as our church family. We’re believing God would continue to move in our communities, bring hope to our neighbors, and use His Church to be a light right where He has placed us.

We also learned what it means to pray a surrendered prayer.

Jesus entered the Garden of Gethsemane knowing what was ahead. He asked His Father for another way, but He also prayed, “Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

The answer didn’t change. He prayed three times, and each time He surrendered the outcome to His Father. And when the rescue didn’t come, strength did.

Sometimes God answers our prayers differently than we imagined. Sometimes the thing we’re asking God to take away remains, but He gives us the strength to walk through it.

We’re excited for this weekend!

This Sunday, we’re praying for our church and the generations to come. We’ll be asking God to continue leading us with His vision, to use our church to reach people with the hope of Jesus, and to build a foundation of faith that extends Beyond Us.

We believe what God is doing today will impact families and generations for years to come, and we want to faithfully follow wherever He leads.

Join us this Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00, or 12:30 as we pray together for what God has ahead.

Following Jesus was never meant to be a one-time decision. It was always meant to become a lifelong journey.

Beyond Us is about creating more space for people to take their next step. Whether that’s building community, finding freedom, strengthening a marriage, or building a stronger foundation in God’s Word, spiritual growth happens when people have room to grow together.

We’re creating spaces where discipleship can happen every day of the week—not just on Sundays. Because when people are equipped to follow Jesus and help others do the same, lives, families, and future generations are changed.

This isn’t just about adding classrooms. It’s about making room for more people to become everything God has called them to be. That’s a foundation that will outlast all of us.

Our work is one of the places God can use us to make an impact.

This week, we had the opportunity to pray over business owners and entrepreneurs. We prayed for wisdom, courage when things get difficult, and integrity in every decision.

May God establish the work of their hands, protect what matters most, and use what they build for something greater than themselves.

To every business owner and entrepreneur, we’re praying that you walk into this week knowing God is with you in every room.

Praise isn’t reserved for after the victory. Faith is believing even when you don’t see the outcome or feel any different.

It’s easy to praise God when the prayer has been answered. But what about when nothing has changed? When the fear is still there, the situation is unresolved, and you still don’t know what to do?

Jehoshaphat didn’t wait for the battle to be over before he worshiped. He praised God while the armies were still marching. That kind of praise isn’t denying your circumstances. It’s declaring that God is, and forever will be, bigger than what you’re going through.

This week, don’t wait for the outcome to praise Him. Declare over your circumstances that the God you serve is greater than what you’re facing. You may not know what to do next, but you know where to fix your eyes.
