Northrock Church Join us on Sundays at 8am • 9:30am • 11am • 12:30pm

Our mission is to embody a purposeful life of faith characterized by generous outreach to our neighbors and local community. We believe in living out our faith by extending a helping hand, sharing resources, and fostering meaningful connections with those around us.

Knowing about Jesus and trusting Jesus are not the same thing. A lot of people know the stories, know the verses, and know who He is, but faith is more than information. Faith is dependence.

You can believe a chair will hold your weight, but until you sit in it, you’re still carrying yourself. In the same way, you can know all the right things about Jesus and still be carrying the weight of your life on your own shoulders.

The gospel invites us into something different. Not just believing facts about Jesus, but trusting Him completely. Trusting Him with our fears, our failures, our future, and our salvation.

What saves us is not what we know about Him. It’s whether we are depending on Him.

The question isn’t, “Do I know about Jesus?” The question is, “Am I trusting Him?”

Happy Father’s Day! It was a joy to celebrate and pray over the fathers, father figures, and those longing to become fathers in our church family today.

We are so grateful that salvation isn’t something we achieve. It’s something we receive. We don’t earn God’s grace through good works, religious performance, or having everything together. Grace is God’s gift to people who could never earn it on their own. And faith is more than believing facts about Jesus, it’s placing the full weight of your life into His hands.

This week, stop trying to earn what Jesus has already provided. Trust Him. Depend on Him. Rest in the grace He freely gives.

Life has a way of pulling us in a hundred different directions. Between work, family, responsibilities, and everything else competing for our attention, it can be easy to lose sight of what matters most.

This Sunday, take a moment to slow down, worship, and be encouraged by God’s Word. No matter where you’ve been or what your week has looked like, there’s a place for you here.

Join us at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00 AM, or 12:30 PM. We’d love to see you this Sunday.

We all have weight we’re carrying.

Maybe you’re struggling to parent the way you hoped you would. Money is tight. Work has been chaotic. Family relationships feel strained. Maybe you’re battling disappointment, anxiety, or wondering how much longer you can keep holding it all together.

Whatever it may be, we’ve all got something.

The good news is that the God of the Old Testament—the One who parted the Red Sea, called Abraham by name, spoke through the burning bush, and promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”—is the same Jesus who stepped into our brokenness, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave, and sent His Spirit to be with us always.

He has not changed.

The same God who was faithful then is faithful now. The same Jesus who sustained generations before us is able to sustain you today.

Every promise has a face.

And His name is Jesus.

What a beautiful time in God's presence!

Every promise of God's faithfulness, every declaration of His power, and every reminder that He is near, present, and trustworthy leads us to Jesus.

The same God who called Abraham, met Moses, parted the Red Sea, and remained faithful through every generation is the same Jesus who invites us to trust Him today.

So whatever you're facing this week, find a promise in Scripture and hold onto it. The One who made it is still faithful to keep it.

Sundays are an opportunity to lift the name of Jesus over every part of our lives—the celebrations, the burdens, the questions, and the gratitude.

No matter what this week has looked like, come expectant for what God want's to do in and through you. There’s a place for you here, and we’d love to worship with you.

Join us this Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00, or 12:30 PM.

Sooner or later, life will bring something you never saw coming. Fear. Heartache. Disappointment. Unanswered prayers. Questions about a future that suddenly feels uncertain.

In those moments, your feelings will try to convince you that God is absent, that hope is lost, or that your situation will never change. But feelings make poor foundations.

The truth of the Gospel gives us something stronger to stand on. God’s character does not change when our circumstances do. His promises remain true when life feels unstable.

Faith isn’t the absence of storms. Faith is choosing to trust God in the middle of them.

So if you’re walking through a difficult season right now, keep standing. Keep believing. Keep trusting. The same God who has carried you before will carry you again.

It was a special day as we took a moment to celebrate, honor, and pray for our graduating seniors. 🎓

We’re so proud of them and grateful for their lives. As they step into what’s ahead, we’re believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, and that their greatest impact is still in front of them.

As we continued our Distinct series, we looked at the confidence the early followers of Jesus had in who He was.

Their faith wasn’t built on rumors but on what they had seen, heard, and experienced for themselves.

Following Jesus doesn’t require us to ignore our questions. It invites us to keep seeking, keep learning, and keep discovering that He is faithful.
