What would it look like if your marriage pointed people to the gospel?

This Sunday, Pastor Jay walked us through 1 Corinthians 7 and we looked at God’s design for marriage and intimacy. One of the key takeaways was this: we are called to lay down our rights and serve one another. That kind of love reflects how Christ loves His church.

We also celebrated three baptisms, a reminder that God is still making all things new. That includes our relationships, our struggles, and every area of our lives.

Whether you’re married, single, or walking through a hard season, there is real hope in the power of Jesus.

Let’s be a people who live this out. Through how we communicate, how we sacrifice, and how we love others well.

David challenged us to examine where we've allowed things to master us—whether alcohol, materialism, or sexual sin. The same resurrection power that raised Jesus is available to help us flee from what dishonors God and embrace the holiness we're called to. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, sacred vessels destined for resurrection.

If you're struggling with moral compromise or living outside God's design, today is your day to repent and reach out to the One who will pull you from the quicksand onto solid rock. Your identity is in Christ—let that truth transform how you live.

Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial. This powerful truth from 1 Corinthians 6 reminds us that Christian freedom isn't license to do whatever we want, it's the opportunity to honor God with every choice we make.

Your body isn't your own. You were bought at a price—the precious blood of Jesus Christ. This means every decision matters. Whether it's what we consume, who we're intimate with, or what masters our attention, we're called to ask: Does this glorify God? The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to help you break free from anything holding you captive.

Today is the day to repent, turn around, and ask God for help. Your identity is in Christ. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit. Live like it matters—because it does.

In 1 Corinthians 6:2–8, Paul challenges believers to think differently about what we hold onto. Sometimes we cling so tightly to our rights, our comfort, and even our own lives that we miss what God is calling us to.

You only loan out what you’re willing to lose. The same is true spiritually. Are we willing to place our lives fully in Christ’s hands, even if it costs us comfort, reputation, or security?

The gospel has always required risk. Jesus gave everything for us, and He calls us to follow Him with the same open-handed faith. We are not building lives around self-protection, but around surrender to Christ and His kingdom.

What are you holding onto that God is asking you to trust Him with?

When conflict comes, where do we turn?

In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul challenges the church to handle disputes differently. As believers, we’re called to live as family, not damage the witness of Christ over personal disagreements.

Our identity isn’t in our past, it’s in what Christ has done. We’ve been washed, sanctified, and justified in Him.

What if we asked this in every situation: what does this say about Jesus?

Baptism is coming up on May 31.

If you’ve placed your faith in Jesus and haven’t been baptized, this is your next step. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change. It’s a public declaration that your life now belongs to Christ.

We believe baptism matters because Jesus calls us to it, and it points to the new life we have in Him.

If you’re ready to take that step, sign up on our website or in the app. We’d love to celebrate with you.
