Our small groups are off to a great start, and we’ve already heard some wonderful feedback from those participating!

Small groups are a great way to build meaningful relationships, grow in your faith, study God’s Word, and encourage one another through life. If you haven’t joined a group yet or have been on the fence, we encourage you to take that step!

We have groups for everyone, meeting at different times throughout the week, so there’s a good chance you’ll find one that fits your schedule.

God has placed you where you are for a reason. He is sovereign over all things and works according to the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11). He has determined our times and places so that we might seek Him (Acts 17:26–27). Wherever He has placed us, our calling remains the same: to live for His glory in everything we do (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Our lives are not ultimately about us. We are here by His design and for His glory.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship this morning as Pastor Jay continued our study through 1 Corinthians 12:27–31.

In a society that emphasizes individuality, Scripture reminds us that we are members of one body in Christ. We each have different gifts and roles, but we are called to use them to serve one another and build up the church.

This Sunday, Pastor Jay continued our study through 1 Corinthians 12:12–29, where Paul gives us a picture of the church as one body made up of many different members.

We are united with Christ, and each member of His body has a purpose. We aren’t all called to be the same, and we don’t all have the same role. God has sovereignly designed each part to work together for His glory.

Paul reminds us that no part of the body is unnecessary. Some parts may seem weaker or less important, but they can be some of the most vital.

God’s design for the church is unity. He takes many different people and brings them together as one body so that we care for one another.

The takeaway: Let Christ orient your heart to care about the whole body, not just your part of it.
