☀️ Morning Sunshine: Fullness of Joy!

It is a beautiful day to simply be grateful. In a world that constantly tells us we need more—more success, more things, more perfect circumstances—to be happy, God offers us a much sweeter deal.

True, contagious, deep-down joy doesn't come from what’s happening around us. It comes from Who is with us! When we step into God's presence, the heavy weight of the world just sort of melts away, replaced by a happiness that doesn't depend on our circumstances.

Psalm 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Notice it doesn't say a trickle of joy or a temporary happy mood. It says fulness of joy! That means running over, soul-satisfying happiness. No matter what is on your to-do list today, take a moment to pause, look up, and receive joy. It's already yours!

Don't forget, our church family picnic at Silver Park! Saturday, June 6th! Be sure to sign the sheet in the vestibule and bring a dish to pass. Hamburgers and hot dogs provided. Our pavilion is right by the big playground and duck pond!
