Today, the St. John the Evangelist School community remembers and honors the beautiful life of a truly special member of our SJE family, Mrs. Shelley Gauthier.

Mrs. Gauthier's service to our SJE students and families for over 32 years from 1980 to 2012 was defined by her immense grace and love. With her kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication, she shaped countless lives both inside and outside the classroom. More than a teacher, she was a mentor, a role model, and a deeply cherished presence in our school community.
Her commitment to faith, learning, and service leaves a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations of SJE students.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

In recognition of Mrs. Gauthier's extraordinary 32 years of dedicated service to Catholic education and to Saint John the Evangelist School, her family and friends have established the Mrs. Gauthier Memorial Scholarship Fund at Saint John the Evangelist School. Those whose lives were touched by Mrs. Gauthier's kindness, faith, and unwavering commitment to our school community are warmly invited to honor her legacy by making a contribution to the student scholarship fund.

To the heights! High school boys are invited to hike Mount Monadnock (NH) with Fr. Jack Schrader, Fr. John Garabedian, and seminarians for a fun day of fraternity and reflection on discerning God’s call.

We’ll leave early in the morning via bus and drive to New Hampshire. After an outdoor Mass and lunch, we’ll start up the mountain! Lunch and dinner provided. It will be a full day of camaraderie, exercise, and growing in faith.

Pickup by Bus:
6:00 AM: Corpus Christi (East Sandwich) pickup
7:00 AM: Bishop Connolly (Fall River) pickup
8:00 AM: Bishop Feehan (Attleboro) pickup

Anticipated Return:
7:00 PM: Bishop Feehan drop-off
8:00 PM: Bishop Connolly drop-off
9:00 PM: Corpus Christi drop-off
