Before there can be decoration, meals, conversation and celebration in the sukkah, somebody has to build it.

A big thank-you to the CAA volunteers who showed up before Yom Kippur started and hauled, lifted, assembled and helped get our sukkah ready for the holiday. That’s what it looks like when people pitch in to make Jewish life happen.

Wishing everyone in our community a joyful Sukkot, whether you’re celebrating in a sukkah, around a table, with friends and family, or simply enjoying the season.

Chag Sukkot Sameach!

Children are welcome at all our High Holiday services, but children and adults often experience the High Holidays in different ways.

On Friday, September 18 at 5:30 pm, our new 40-minute Family Service will create an opportunity for children and their grownups to experience the traditions together. Adults can see the holidays through their children’s eyes, while children join their grownups singing, reflecting, and participating alongside them.

It's free and open to all with RSVP, so share this link with your friends:

Light Kiddush to follow.

Lag BaOmer falls in the middle of the Omer, a reflective stretch between Passover and Shavuot.

It’s a day that shifts the tone, often symbolized by fire and light.

A small pause. A little lift.

Congregation Agudas Achim wishes our community a joyful Lag BaOmer.
