SeptemBER, OctoBER, NovemBER, and DecemBER. I have always been thankful that I live in Kansas because we get to experience the different seasons God created....But this summer has been an exception. Medicine Lodge has recorded over 40 days above 100 and a dozen recorded records.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 " For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven."
This may be one of those times that God is trying to teach us patience. I will just believe that God will make everything beautiful in his time. Ecclesiastes 3:11.

We want to wish you a safe, happy, blessed, and hopefully cooler Labor Day Weekend. Remember to thank God for your health, strength, abilities to provide for your loved ones, and put your faith into action by doing something nice for someone else.

Thank you to everyone who made it out for food fellowship and fun this evening. We were also blessed with two baptisms! It was a great evening even with the heat!

Walt Whitman's quote is a simple truth. When you face the sun you never see the darkness behind you. How many times have you faced the sun and not noticed?
Sunflowers stand at attention and turn to face the sun. If you walk in a field of sunflowers and look at them they smile at you.
You can be someone else's sunshine by giving away your smiles and doing something for someone else.
Our SON SHINE comes from our Lord. When I keep my eyes on my Savior, he leaves the shadow of our sins behind. When my eyes are on him and I concentrate on my blessings,
I am transformed by the Spirit.
Psalms 34:5. Those who look to him are radient.

This may be a simple question; however, it has a major impact on your life. If you are looking for a problem, you will find it, but I prefer to look for blessings. If you are looking to learn, your teachers are there to assist you, but if you are looking for ways to break the rules, you will find that also.
Your day and school year will be as what you are looking or expecting it to be. SO look for the rainbows.
