In today's lesson, we discover that Jesus had been in the wilderness for 40 days without food when Satan came to
tempt Him. In a true battle of good versus evil, Jesus uses His knowledge of the Bible to defend himself from Satan’s temptations. God will help us overcome temptations, too! We must stand firm in prayer and use the Bible as our weapon against the enemy.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down and worship the statue of King Nebuchadnezzar. This got them in a lot of trouble, but they chose to obey God no matter what. We learn that God is with us in our darkest moments. Our trials are not a sign of God's absence, but they are often a platform for God to demonstrate His power and glory.

A great big thank you to our Kingdom Kids helpers who show up every week! We try to have monthly team-building meetings with these helpers to plan together, have a little fun, and strengthen our bond. Shout out to Brennan and Ella Grace for delivering the devotion at our last 2 meetings. We are very proud of all of you!!!

The story of Esther and Haman illustrates how God works behind the scenes to empower individuals to help others, even at great personal risk. Through courageous action, prayer, and utilizing her royal position, Esther saved the Jewish people from Haman's plot, demonstrating that God often positions us in "such a time as this" to fulfill His purposes.

God called Elijah the prophet to confront Ahab. Ahab had married someone who worshiped false gods and led others to do the same. In an epic showdown, each side asked their god to send down fire, but only the one, true God was faithful. Our God is the One, True God! He will never leave us or forsake us. We can boldly face any circumstance knowing that He is with us!
