NEW SERMON SERIES
The thesaurus gives several synonyms for “warm-hearted.” Friendly, amiable, kind, affectionate, loving, welcoming, hospitable, comforting, charitable, genuine, enthusiastic-- are just a few.

If the church is going to have any success obeying the Great Commission, its members must be described using these terms. When we apply these adjectives to each other, it creates a group of people who get along, who are willing to work together, who encourage each other, and who are there for one another.

The Apostle Paul, in his letter to Philemon, speaks of the Church at Colosse in just this way.

This coming Sunday, we begin a short sermon series, with texts all taken from this little letter. It’s my hope that we can make the good relationships that exist in the church even better, resulting in an even stronger, more determined group of people desirous of making disciples of all the nations.
